    • This invention relates to an injection molding method using an injection mold. The method comprises (1) a molten resin injection step for injecting the molten resin from a gate into a cavity, (2) a pressure-keeping step for continuously applying pressure from the gate after the molten resin injection step, and (3) a fluid injection step for injecting a fluid toward the back surface of the molded product. The pressure-keeping step and the fluid injection step are simultaneously executed.Simultaneously executing these two steps can lower the pressure that is to be continuously applied from the gate. The present injection molding method can reduce the pressure of the fluid to be injected toward the back surface of the molded product in order to cause the back surface of the molded product to separate from the cavity surface.

    • This invention provides a resin molding device, resin molding method and resin molded product capable of guiding a sink to an optional position to perform a precise molding. A resin molding metal mold 1 comprises a gate 3 formed in the centeral part of a cavity 2, a stepped part 4 increasing the opening diameter of the cavity 2 in the circumferential direction orthogonal to the flowing direction of a molten resin 10 introduced into the cavity 2 from the gate 3, and a fine outside air inlet part 5 circumferentially formed on the outer part from the stepped part 4. The outside air inlet part 5 is formed of a porous material and allowed to communicate with the outside of the resin molding metal mold 1 through a communicating passage 6. Accordingly, the molten resin 10 injected into the cavity 2 from the gate 3 is cooled with the outside air introduced from the outside air inlet part 5 formed in the area except a transfer part after the reduction in resin pressure by the stepped part 4 to generate a sink, forming a non-transfer part, so that the transfer property of the transfer part can be improved to enhance the shape precision of the molded product.

    • A mold apparatus and method is used to form a solid injection molded plastic part having no internal voids, a Class A finish, a sink-free exterior appearance surface, and unevenly distributed structural detail extending from the opposite surface, the detail including free-standing reinforcement ribs, attachment bosses, and the like. In sequence, a seal groove in the mold cavity is reduced to a pressure below atmospheric (i.e., negative), a charge of hot thermoplastic is introduced into the mold cavity and seal groove whereby to form a gas seal ring, and pressurized gas is injected into the mold cavity. The pressurized gas forces the hot plastic from one mold half against the other mold half, and the gas seal formed by the plastic prevents gas on one side of the thermoplastic from reaching the appearance surface of the part.
