摘要： A laminating blow molding method for making a hollow article includes the steps of forming 1 to 500 fine, holes per an area of 100 cm.sup.2 in a resin sheet by punching to thereby form projections as burrs on one side of the resin sheet, the diameter of the holes being between 0.1 mm and 1 mm; disposing the resin sheet between an outer surface of a parison extruded from a die and a mold so that the one side with the projections faces a cavity face of the mold; closing the mold so that the resin sheet is held between the cavity face of the mold and the outer surface of the parison; and heating the mold to a temperature exceeding a softening temperature of the resin sheet and simultaneously blowing the parison to perform blow molding. Thereafter, the mold is cooled and a molded article is taken out. In the method, the molded article with smooth outer surface can be obtained.

摘要： A retaining wall construction comprises modular facing blocks connected by fasteners to anchoring blocks positioned behind the facing blocks. The facing blocks are arranged in courses which overlap one another. The facing blocks, as well as the anchor blocks, have hollow, vertical throughbores. This enables interconnection of the back wall of the facing block with the anchor block by means of various types of fasteners. The retaining wall construction is especially useful in the construction of low height, gravity type walls.

The web of labels is advanced through a die cutter which sequentially cuts individual labels from the web. A transfer device picks a freshly cut label from the die cutter and places the label within the cavity of a mold located in proximity to the die cutter. By individually cutting labels from a web at the time of use rather than loading a stack of precut labels in a magazine, the invention allows for the use of thinner, less expensive, and compatible plastic label material.

摘要： Process for the application of a label on a hollow body of thermoplastic material wherein the label is placed on a movable curved-end member of a blow-mold device while said member is maintained in a retracted position with respect to the cavity of the blow-mold device. A blow blank is inserted into the blow-mold cavity, after which the central portion of the label is caused to be moved out in the direction of the blow blank so that after the blow blank is blown up, said member with the label is moved inwardly against the inflated blow blank and the air between the blank and the label is passed to the exterior of the mold. In a blow-moulding process, a label is applied to the blow-moulded article while it is still in the mould by placing the label on the front end of a plunger which is initially retracted in a recess in the mould wall. When the article has been blown up, the plunger is advanced to apply the label to the article. Initial contact between the label and the article is over a small area which progressively increases as air is excluded from between the article and the label.
