摘要： An injection molding method of a part for vehicle interiors includes arranging a mold having a first injection chamber defining in negative a base of the part. Thermoplastic material is injected into the first chamber and the base is extracted from the first chamber and placed in a second injection chamber. A lining film is inserted in the second chamber and deforming it to arrange the film on an outer surface thereof, adhering to an esthetic wall of the second chamber opposite a functional wall. An intermediate plastic layer is injected in a gap between an inner wall of the base facing the lining film, and an inner surface of the lining film opposite the outer surface to create a single sandwich structure. The intermediate layer is between the lining film and the base, has lower hardness than the base and forms a yielding padding for the lining film.

Each deflecting wing is coupled to one of the side walls at a corner. A second shot isolation member of an elastically resilient second material is bonded to portions of an interior surface of the longitudinal pocket defined by each of: the semi-circular sleeve, each of the pair of side walls, each of the pair of corners, and each of the pair of wings. Mold members can include supporting surfaces to support interior and exterior portions of the wing during the second shot molding operation, while leaving an exposed interior bonding surface that defines a portion of the second shot molding cavity.

摘要： A method of manufacturing an acoustic seal for a CIC hearing aid has the steps of: embedding sacrificial particles of 50 μm to 250 μm into a silicone rubber matrix, the concentration and size of the sacrificial particles being selected to achieve a porosity of at least 40%; molding the silicone rubber matrix using a mold and curing the silicone rubber matrix; removing the sacrificial particles from the silicone rubber matrix by leaching out the sacrificial particles in a solvent; and drying the silicone rubber matrix. The seal is to surround at least part of the hearing aid and by selection of the size and/or concentration and/or the distribution of the sacrificial particles, to provide for an acoustic attenuation of at least 20 dB in a frequency range between 200 Hz and 6 kHz, with a compliance of at least 50 mm/N when the hearing aid is inserted into the ear canal.

摘要： An image pickup lens unit, in which a holder body and a cover can be easily connected together, without additional components and a resin flow path for the connection. A lens 10 is positioned in a first holder member 20 which remains in a mold. A second holder member 30 for preventing the lens 10 from falling off is molded such that it is welded to the first holder member having the lens 10 positioned therein. This facilitates molding of the second holder member 30 and joining of the second holder member 30 to the first holder member 20 at the same time. Since there is no need to provide a resin flow path for joining the first holder member 20 and the second holder member 30 together, the image pickup lens unit can be made small in size.

摘要： A method of incorporating an anti-counterfeiting device into a multi-walled container is provided. The multi-walled container includes an inner wall having an outer surface, an outer wall adjacent to the inner wall, and an anti-counterfeiting device sandwiched between the inner and outer walls. The method includes forming the inner wall from a polymeric composition, adhering the anti-counterfeiting device to the outer surface of the inner wall either during, or after formation of the inner wall, and then over molding the outer wall about the inner wall to form the multi-walled container. Suitable anti-counterfeiting devices for incorporation into the multi-walled container include RFID, printed or foil antennae, conductive inks, metal spheres, and x-ray readable foils.
