The encoding apparatus includes: a shape abstracting means for receiving right/left-eye image object video and abstracting right/ left object image, respectively, to abstract the shape information of a multi-view video; a data separating means for receiving the right/left-eye image object video, and the right/left shape information, and separating them into odd-field objects and even field objects to transmit only the essential bit streams for a user display mode; a shape compensation means for compensating for the distortion of the shape information separated into odd and even fields; and an object-based encoding means for receiving the object-based information from the shape compensation means and the object-based information from the data separating means, forming four layers, and performing motion and disparity estimation to encode object-based data that are separated into odd and even lines.

    • Provided is a power amplifier of a low-power consumption system that has linearity at a peak output power while increasing efficiency in a most frequently used range, and thereby enables a battery to last longer. The power amplifier includes an input impedance matcher for impedance-matching a signal input from the outside; a high-power amplifier and a low-power amplifier for amplifying the signal having passed through the input impedance matcher; an amplification controller controlling the high-power amplifier and low-power amplifier according to the power level of the input signal; an output impedance matcher for impedance-matching the signal amplified by the high-power amplifier and low-power amplifier; and a dynamic voltage supplier for supplying the low-power amplifier with a variable driving voltage. With the constitution set forth above, linearity at peak output power is maintained, and efficiency increases in the most frequently used range, thereby enabling the battery of a handheld to last longer.

    • There is provided an optical system using diffraction optical elements (DOEs) for improving chromatic aberration correction performance by arranging two DOEs between planes adjacent to a lens having plus refractive power and a lens having minus refractive power. The optical system has an aperture stop for controlling light amount, a first lens group, a second lens group, and a third lens group, which are sequentially arranged from an object side. The first lens group includes a first lens having plus refractive power and a second lens having minus refractive power arranged sequentially from the object side. The second or third lens group has a lens where at least one refraction surface is aspherical. In the optical system using DOEs (diffraction optical elements), a first DOE is joined to an image side of the first lens and a second DOE is joined to an object side of the second lens in correspondence to the first diffraction optical element.
