    • This invention relates to a process for producing an organic semiconductor. More specifically, it relates to a process for producing an electrically conductive acetylene high polymer, which comprises doping an acetylene high polymer having a fibrous microcrystalline (fibril) structure with a specified electron acceptor compound having low toxicity, to obtain an electrically conductive acetylene high polymer having an increased electrical conductivity, and flexibility and heat stability. The electrically conductive acetylene high polymer obtained by the process of this invention is a P-type semiconductor whose electrical conductivity can be freely controlled within the range of 10.sup.-9 to 10.sup.3 ohm.sup.-1, cm.sup.-1, and is useful as a material for photoelectric converter elements such as solar cells and photosensers, and as P-N hetero junction elements.

    • A hybrid vehicle having a controller controls output torque of an engine and output torque of a generator motor so as to apply requested torque to a drive shaft. The controller performs engine intermittent operation to stop operation of the engine when a given engine operation stop condition is satisfied, and start the engine when a given engine start condition is satisfied. The controller makes an in-cylinder injection valve abnormality determination while causing a total amount of fuel to be injected from an in-cylinder injection valve, and makes a port injection valve abnormality determination while causing the total amount of fuel to be injected from a port injection valve. If at least one of abnormality determinations concerning the in-cylinder injection valve and the port injection valve has not been made, the engine is operated so that the load of the engine falls within a predetermined range.

    • A method for producing a biodegradable bag and for packing a food, such as a snack food, which is required to have an oxygen barrier property and a water vapor barrier property. The biodegradable bag can be produced at a high speed by a bag making and packaging machine, which can be degraded by naturally occurring microorganisms in soil or water finally to a non-hazardous degradation product, which can be biorecycled, and which is not accumulated in nature. The biodegradable bag for packing a food comprises a laminated film obtainable by laminating in the following order: a sealant layer comprising a biodegradable polymer; a barrier layer having an oxygen barrier property and a water vapor barrier property; and a barrier layer-supporting substrate layer comprising a biodegradable polymer, the laminated film being heat-sealed in order for the sealant layer to be inside.
