摘要： A base station includes multiple edge nodes and a central node. The edge nodes are configured to perform communication with a user equipment, and execute baseband processing and mutual conversion between baseband data and radio data, in which the multiple edge nodes belong to one or more edge node groups, and each edge node group includes at least one edge node. The central node is configured to perform communication with the multiple edge nodes, manage the multiple edge nodes, and perform resource sharing so that resources are shared by the multiple edge nodes. The base station is divided into two levels of architecture, namely, a central node and an edge node, and the central node implements resource sharing so that resources are shared by the edge nodes, so that a resource sharing degree in the base station is enhanced.

摘要： A technique for operating a wireless communications system that supports multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) communications between a base station and multiple mobile stations involves generating inter-cell interference information at the mobile stations and providing the inter-cell interference information to the base station. The base station uses the inter-cell interference information to calculate channel quality indicators (CQIs) and then makes scheduling decisions in response to the CQIs. Data is transmitted from the base station to the mobile stations according to the scheduling decisions.

摘要： The present invention provides a wireless communication system capable of managing peer-to-peer (P2P) communications. In one embodiment of the invention, upon receiving a request for initiating a call, the system determines whether P2P communication can be established between the two mobile terminals. The system also determines an operating mode of the two mobile terminals for P2P communication. If the P2P communication can be established between the two mobile terminals and both mobile terminals are in a default mode for P2P communication, the system establishes P2P communication between the two mobile terminals. On the other hand, if any one of the mobile terminals is in a prompt mode, the system sends a prompt to the mobile terminal in the prompt mode, along with information about incentives for using P2P communication services. If the user of the mobile terminal in the prompt mode selects the P2P communication services, the system allocates resources for setting up a P2P link between the two mobile terminals. After the P2P communication is completed, the system sends discounted billing information to the mobile terminals.

摘要： The present invention provides a wireless network system for establishing peer-to-peer communication between mobile terminals. Upon determining that peer-to-peer communication can be established between two mobile terminal, the wireless network system transmits to each of the mobile terminals information about radio resources used by the other one of the mobile terminals. Each mobile terminal then uses the radio resources information to test the characteristics of a dedicated uplink channel between the other one of the mobile terminals and the network system. Thus, no separate radio channel needs to be allocated for the channel testing. Furthermore, each mobile terminal uses the same radio resources to establish a dedicated radio channel in the peer-to-peer communication with the other one of the mobile terminals, which were previously used by itself for communication with the network system on the dedicated uplink channel. In this way, the network system does not need to allocate additional radio resources for establishing the peer-to-peer communication, thus simplifying the radio resources re-allocation scheme, while ensuring that the quality of the channels is the same as tested.

This method effectively guarantees the procedure of establishing P2P communication between the user equipments in P2P communication course, by utilizing the link probing process of transmitting link probing signals.
