    • Wireless communications devices, methods and systems are implemented in various fashions. According to one such implementation, a method is used in a device using time-division-multiple access and multiple-mode wireless modules. Logic generates a signal indicative (304) of a first (e.g., TV) wireless module (150) being active. In a first state where the first wireless module (150) is active, a switch connects a transmitter of a second (e.g., cellular) wireless module (100) to a duplexer (202). In a second state where the first wireless module is not active, logic connects the transmitter of the second wireless module (100) to an antenna (102) while bypassing the duplexer (202). Logic connects, in the first state, the duplexer (202) to the antenna (102) and connects, in the second state, the transmitter to the antenna while bypassing the duplexer (202). The duplexer (202) connects a receiver of the second wireless module (100) to the antenna (202) and includes a transmit band pass filter designed with a rejection band near an operating band of the first wireless module (150).

    • A print head assembly and a printer using the same are disclosed. The print head assembly includes: a bracket, a print head and an elastic element. The bracket includes a first bracket body having a cavity and a lid covered on the opening of the cavity. A window is opened on the first bracket body. The print head is accommodated in the cavity of the first bracket body and hinged to the first bracket body via a first rotary shaft. The surface of a heating element of the print head is matched with the window and faces an outside paper pressing roller. The elastic element biases towards the print head so as to make the surface of the heating element of the print head have a tendency to extend outside the window. The print head assembly is capable of being detached as a whole, thus the requirements of performing single-sided printing and duplex printing in the same printer is achieved.

    • The present invention provides a wireless network system for establishing peer-to-peer communication between mobile terminals. Upon determining that peer-to-peer communication can be established between two mobile terminal, the wireless network system transmits to each of the mobile terminals information about radio resources used by the other one of the mobile terminals. Each mobile terminal then uses the radio resources information to test the characteristics of a dedicated uplink channel between the other one of the mobile terminals and the network system. Thus, no separate radio channel needs to be allocated for the channel testing. Furthermore, each mobile terminal uses the same radio resources to establish a dedicated radio channel in the peer-to-peer communication with the other one of the mobile terminals, which were previously used by itself for communication with the network system on the dedicated uplink channel. In this way, the network system does not need to allocate additional radio resources for establishing the peer-to-peer communication, thus simplifying the radio resources re-allocation scheme, while ensuring that the quality of the channels is the same as tested.

    • A single-stage amplifier includes (1) first and second “gain” transistors coupled in a common source configuration, (2) first and second resistors providing self-biasing for the first and second transistors, respectively, (3) first and second current sources providing bias currents for the first and second transistors, respectively, and (4) a load impedance coupled between the drains of the first and second transistors. The amplifier may further include (5) third and fourth “compensation” transistors coupled in parallel with, and used to compensate parasitic capacitances of, the first and second transistors, respectively, and (6) third and fourth resistors providing self-biasing for the third and fourth transistors, respectively. Variable gain may be achieved by varying the bias currents for the gain transistors. A two-stage amplifier may be formed with two stages coupled in cascade, with each stage including most or all of the circuit elements of the single-stage amplifier.
