摘要： The present deodorizing substance is obtained by treating a raw material selected from sugar cane juice and sugar cane-derived molasses by column chromatography, and characterized in that the substance is a fraction obtained by passing the aforesaid raw material through a column packed with a synthetic adsorbent as a fixed carrier and eluting ingredients adsorbed on said synthetic adsorbent with a solvent selected from water, methanol, ethanol and a mixture thereof. The present deodorizing substance is inexpensive and has high safety. It may be used widely in foods and environmental protection fields.

Also, this forceps is inserted into inside of a manipulator, to be used therewith.

摘要： A hardly gas permeable and airtightly sealed package encloses a container containing infusion. The package also encloses an amount of deoxidizing agent. The package comprises a hardly deformable tray and a flexible lid bonded to the flange of said tray. The container comprises a discharge port, a container main body and a neck connecting said port and said main body. A jagged or irregular portion having a profile corresponding to that of the port and neck is integrally formed with the tray. The irregular portion controls the movement of the container relative to the package.

摘要： Trifluoromethyltoluene is obtained from a halomethylbenzotrifluoride, which is a relatively inexpensive material, by hydrogenating the halomethyl group of the starting compound to methyl group with hydrogen gas in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst and an acid acceptor. Suitable examples of the halomethyl group to be hydrogenated are --CH.sub.2 Cl, --CH.sub.2 F, --CHClF, --CClF.sub.2 and --CF.sub.3. When the starting compound is bis(trifluromethyl)benzene, addition of either an alcohol or an alkali metal fluoride to the reaction system is effective for suppression of formation of xylene as a by-product, and xylene still contained in the reaction product can completely be removed by treatment with a sulfonating agent such as fuming sulfuric acid.
