    • The present invention relates to a self-timer device for a motion picture camera which presents a second motor switch connected in series with the first motor switch to be closed by means of the release means at the time of the camera release, the first timer means including a governer mechanism for actually starting photographing, closing the second motor switch after the elapse of a certain determined time from the automatic photographing setting and the second timer means for stopping the camera release after the elapse of a certain determined time from the actual starting of photographing, so as to open the first motor switch and terminate the photographing. In this manner the first timer means is driven by means of a spring means as a driving source while the second timer means is driven by means of the camera driving motor as driving source and controls the timing of the start and stop of the photographing at the time of the automatic photographing.

    • A motion picture camera with a release device capable of selective control of rotative movement of the shutter blade in the camera for a normal motion picture sequence and for a single frame slot depending upon the position of a selector therefor. The release device is provided with the single stop lever arranged between the shutter blade and a release member to be pivoted in either of two planes, perpendicular to each other. For a motion picture sequence, as the pivotal movement of the stop lever is limited to only one of the planes, it is retained in operative engagement with the release member so long as the latter is pressed, thus permitting a number of revolutions of the shutter blade in sequence. When the selector is manually switched to the single frame position, a disengage actuator is brought into cooperation with both of the shutter blade and the stop lever in such a manner that just after an exposure aperture is covered by the shutter blade to terminate a single frame exposure, the disengage actuator causes a pivotal movement of the stop lever in the other plane which in turn causes the stop lever to be taken out of the operative engagement with the release member as the stop lever is pivoted in the first-named plane regardless of the fact that release member is pressed. This results in operative engagement of the stop lever with the shutter blade to stop the shutter blade in the exposure aperture closed position.

    • An anticorrosion sleeve including a resin sleeve and a metal sleeve tightly received in the resin sleeve. The metal sleeve has a gradually expanding outer diameter thereof toward one circular edge thereof in a tapered shape in cross section so that the metal sleeve expands the resin sleeve in diameter when the metal sleeve is inserted into the resin sleeve.     • A storage compartment for loading and unloading batteries of varying sizes efficiently. The storage compartment is internally equipped with a position regulating plate part on a ceiling part, an ejection urging part, a thickness judging part, and a contact point part on an end surface at the back side. The position regulating plate part is equipped with rotatable position regulating plates urged to protrude vertically into the storage compartment. When a battery is inserted, the position regulating plates guide the battery and cause it to be pressed to a bottom surface part of the storage compartment. Any one of the position regulating plates that does not abut the battery opposes the battery in a perpendicular direction and prohibits movement of the battery in the thickness direction.
