摘要： The same size casing is used for interior air blowers of a combination air conditioning and heater interior unit disposed in left- and right-hand drive vehicles, respectively. A casing width is made nearly constant from a start-of-winding position to an end-of-winding position. An approximately central fan datum line which passes through a fan is offset to a suction port side with respect to a casing datum line which passes through an approximately central part of a portion of the casing parallel to a blower rotational axis. A flange portion of a motor holder is located at a position offset to one side (suction port side) along the rotational axis rather than an opposite side along the same direction in the casing. By replacement of impression cores it is possible to manufacture the casings for right- and left-hand drive vehicles, respectively.

摘要： An air conditioning apparatus for a rear seat of a vehicle includes a centrifugal fan disposed at a downstream air side of an evaporator. The centrifugal fan is a backward curved fan having a plurality of blades each of which is curved backward relative to a rotation direction of the centrifugal fan. In the centrifugal fan, because a main component of velocity vector is in a radial direction of the centrifugal fan, a dynamical-pressure component of air blown from the centrifugal fan can be effectively changed to a hydrostatic-pressure component. Thus, during a cooler mode where air is simultaneously blown from first and second air outlets toward the rear space of the passenger compartment, a pressure of air blown from the first and second air outlets can be increased, and an amount of air blown toward the rear space of the passenger compartment can be sufficiently increased.

The evaporator inclines downward along the direction of the air flow. A plurality of condensed water guide plates are provided under the evaporator so as to allow a condensed water smoothly flow on the surface of each guide plate and is discharged from the evaporator through a condensed water drain pipe.

The partition wall is molded integrally to the fan casing so as to extend linearly from the inner wall surface of the fan casing toward a radial inside of the fan. The fan casing includes two divided cases having a divided face in the axial direction. In this way, the number of divided cases can be as well as the number of steps of assembling the fan casing can be reduced so that the work efficiency for assembling the fan casing is improved.

摘要： An electric element (Peltier element composite) is disposed in a boundary between an outside air introduction passage and an inside air introduction air passage (114). The Peltier element composite absorbs heat from the inside air in the inside air introduction passage to cool and dehumidify the inside air and radiates heat to outside air in the outside air introduction passage. The inside air and outside air are blown out from a defroster air outlet through a second air passage. In this way, it is possible to increase an amount of introduced inside air and to improve the heating performance while maintaining the defrosting performance.

摘要： A blower unit for an automobile air conditioner includes a centrifugal fan having a suction port for sucking outside air, and a motor for rotating the fan. The motor is disposed approximately horizontally to penetrate through the suction port of the fan. One end of the fan in an axial direction is connected to a rotation shaft of the motor by a connection member, and a water-prevention member is disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the motor at an inner peripheral side of the one end of the fan in the axial direction. The water-prevention member prevents water dropped onto the outer peripheral surface of the motor from moving to a side of the connection member. Further, the water-prevention member includes a groove portion for receiving water dropped from the one end of the fan along the connection member. Thus, in the blower unit, the water-prevention member prevents water from flowing into the motor.

摘要： A filter is disposed so as to cross at right angle to an airflow from an inside air inlet and an outside air inlet to an inlet port. The filter is made of a filter element formed in a corrugated shape by folding and is deformable so that a width of the filter in the axis direction of said rotary door could be shortened. Thus, it is possible to shorten the width of the filter in the axial direction of the rotary shaft by deforming the outer shape of the filter, therefore, the filter is easily taken out from the inside air inlet. Furthermore, since the filter can be taken out from the inside air inlet, the filter can be attached or detached without disassembling the inside and outside air switching case and casing for a blower fan, the working efficiency for cleaning and changing the filter being thereby improved.
