摘要： A control system for a vehicle (10) is described for use in conjunction with the safety system (44) of the vehicle (10). A tire sensor or plurality of tire sensors generates tire force signals. The tire force signals may include lateral tire forces, longitudinal (or torque) tire forces, and normal tire forces. Based upon the tire force signals, a safety system (44) may be activated. The tire force sensors may be used to monitor various conditions including but not limited to sensing a roll condition, wheel lift detection, a trip event, oversteering and understeering conditions, pitch angle, bank angle, roll angle, and the position of the center of gravity of the vehicle.

摘要： A control system (18) and method for an automotive vehicle (10) includes a lateral acceleration sensor (32) generating a lateral acceleration signal, a yaw rate sensor (28) generating a yaw rate signal and a safety system. A safety system (44) and the sensors are coupled to a controller (26). The controller (26) determines a front lateral tire force and a rear lateral tire force from the vehicle yaw rate signal and the vehicle lateral acceleration signal, determines a calculated lateral velocity from the front lateral tire force, the rear lateral tire force and a bank angle, determines a calculated yaw rate from the front lateral tire force and the rear lateral tire force, the controller controlling a safety system in response to the calculated lateral velocity and the calculated yaw rate.

A check to be deposited is received from the customer. An image capture device electronically captures check image data which is representative of an image of the check. The check image data is electronically transmitted via a first communications network to a web service provider to allow the web service provider to determine if the check being deposited is a duplicate check. A verification message is received from the web-based service provider indicating that the check being deposited is either a duplicate check or not a duplicate check. The cargo hold is configurable to accommodate a variety of different shapes and sizes to retain cargo or boxes in an essentially fixed secure position. Monkey Grabs cargo hold takes the standard four tied down areas in the bed of a vehicle and convert to 24 optional tied down areas. The cargo hold do not include any metal components. The cargo hold has multiple securing loops along lengths of the straps for a user to connect into the ends and along the length of the strap to create additional securing locations. This makes the cargo hold a far more useful cargo hold. The cargo hold is configured in a rectangular configuration to connect along the sides of the bed of a truck and also placed across the bed for more versatile uses of the monkey grip cargo hold.
