    • A computer-readable storage medium having stored therein an information processing program to be executed by a computer is provided. The information processing program causes the computer to function as: preferential display object placing means for placing a preferential display object in an imaging range of a virtual stereo camera in a virtual three-dimensional space; stereoscopically visible image rendering means for taking the virtual three-dimensional space using the virtual stereo camera, and rendering a stereoscopically visible image of the virtual three-dimensional space; and display control means for causing the display apparatus to display the stereoscopically visible image rendered by the stereoscopically visible image rendering means. The stereoscopically visible image rendering means renders the preferential display object in preference to a predetermined object in front of the preferential display object, such that a portion of the preferential display object being overlapped by the predetermined object is translucent.

    • A magnetic code reading device and magnetic code reading method in an ATM or the like which after detecting a readout magnetic waveform including jitter, performs necessary transaction processing without performing uniform error processing in a predetermined case. The device includes a magnetic head having a magnetic sensor for writing and reading, magnetic code onto/from a magnetic recording medium, a timing disk for generating a timing pulse in correspondence with a moving distance of the magnetic head, and a controller for controlling the magnetic head and the timing disk, wherein upon reading of magnetic code on the magnetic recording medium where predetermined information is written in correspondence with the timing pulse, if jitter appears at relatively fixed intervals, corresponding to a rotational period of the timing disk, in a series of readout magnetic waveforms detected by the magnetic sensor, the controller recognizes the magnetic code based on the series of readout magnetic waveforms including the jitter, while if jitter is not related to the rotational period of the timing disk, the controller performs reading error processing.

    • A heat treatment device including a handling chamber that has a carriers feed in/out opening for carriers holding plural sheets of objects to be treated parallelly vertical, a vertical heat treatment furnace for heat treating the objects and a posture changer for swinging the carriers near the carriers feed in/out opening of the handling chamber on a rotational center into a territory of lower sides of the carriers to change the posture of the objects to be treated from the vertical position to the horizontal position. The posture changer swings the carriers on the rotational center to sides of the carriers to change the carriers' posture from vertical to horizontal so the carriers have postures changed along a swing track of a minimum radius with small bulge amounts and a minimum moving amount. Thus, a conveying distance and a conveying time for conveying the posture changed carriers to the upper storage unit be reduced, and the heat treatment device can be smaller-sized and have improved processing efficiency.

    • A heat treatment apparatus having a heat treatment boat with a plurality of wafers held thereon, which is to be loaded in a reaction vessel which has one end opened. Once loaded, the boat effects a seal of the reaction vessel, in preparation for subjecting the wafers to heat treatment. The boat also has a heat-insulator disposed on its lower end for heat-insulating the interior of the reaction vessel during the heat-treatment. The heat-insulator includes composite plates having a metal film layer on an upper surface for reflecting heat rays generated during the heat treatment of the reaction vessel, and a cylinder enclosing the composite plates. Thus, sufficient heat-insulating effect for the heat treatment can be obtained, and stable heat-treatment can be conducted with the sufficient heat-insulating effect secured. Furthermore, the generation of particles can be suppressed, and yields of the heat treatment can be improved.
