摘要： A recording system for recording visible images on a recording medium according to source image information, including a coating device applying to the medium at least one kind of image-recording toner including a photosensitive toner, and an exposing device image-wise exposing the medium having thereon the photosensitive toner, to a radiation having the source image information so as to form on the medium images representing the source image information. The coating device may apply to the medium at least one of the photosensitive microcapsules and developer material which serve as the at least one kind of toner, according to the source image information, and the exposing device may expose to the radiation the medium having the microcapsules serving as the photosensitive toner so as to form microcapsule-based latent images. The recording system may further includes an electrostatic body, and a switching device selectively permitting the exposure of the medium having thereon the photosensitive toner, and exposure to the radiation of the electrostatic body for forming electrostatic latent images according to which the at least one kind of toner is adhered thereto. The switching device may selectively permit the exposure of the electrostatic body for forming the electrostatic latent images, and exposure to the radiation of the photosensitive toner adhered to the electrostatic body.

摘要： In an optical printing system for printing an image on a recording sheet, adopted as the recording sheet is a sheet coated with microcapsules on one surface thereon. Each microcapsule envelopes a first component which changes color when reacts with a second component. The second component may be coated on the recording sheet or may be coated on a separate developing sheet. The microcapsule further envelopes a third component which varies the mechanical strength of microcapsule when light is projected thereto. An image is formed on the recording sheet by selectively exposing a light thereto in accordance with the image to be printed thereon, and the microcapsules on the recording sheet whose mechanical strength is low are then ruptured by rupturing means. Thereby, the visible image is developed. The exposing is carried out by repeating a predetermined-period exposure at a predetermined interval against the same portion of the recording sheet. The printing operation of the printing system is executed by control means in accordance with a predetermined sequence.

摘要： An image recording device wherein a photo-sensitive paper or a plain paper is selected as a recording medium. If a monochrom image is to be recorded, a provisional image formed with light-shield materials which corresponds to an original image to be recorded is directly transferred onto the plain paper to form a monochrom image thereon. If a color image is to be recorded, the light-shield image is once transferred onto an image carrier, and the light-shield image carried on the image carrier is exposed on the photo-sensitive paper to form a latent image thereon. The latent image formed on the photo-sensitive paper by the above exposure is then developed to a visible color image.

摘要： A light-and pressure-sensitive recording sheet and an original, overlapping each other, are introduced into an image forming apparatus, and are exposed to radiation on a transparent drum by means of a light source in the drum, whereupon a latent image, based on the contents of the original, is formed on the recording sheet. Then, the recording sheet is separated from the original by means of a separator, and is passed between a pair of pressure rolls. When the recording sheet is exposed, microcapsules thereon change their hardness. These microcapsules are ruptured selectively by pressure applied to the sheet. As a result, a chromogenic material, contained in the microcapsules, and a developer material, on the surface of a substrate of the recording sheet, react with each other, so that the sheet surface changes its color. Thus, the latent image is developed to accomplish copying in accordance with the original.
