    • A mulching mower is provided which is capable of cutting grasses finely without leaving uncut grasses and which is capable of discharging the cut grass clippings onto the cut grass path so as to be evenly dispersed. A pair of cutter blades are arranged to the right and to the left of the mulching mower in a cutter housing which opens downwardly. A guitar-shaped or figure 8 shaped enclosure wall hangs down from an under surface of an upper wall of the cutter housing to completely surround the periphery of the right and left cutter blades along tip end rotation loci of the blades at a slight distance therefrom. The enclosure wall is formed by side wall portions ar right and left outsides of the cutter housing and front and rear enclosure wall portions hang down from the under surface. The cutter blades rotate in opposite directions from each other so that tip ends of the cutter blades move from front to rear at right and left outsides, respectively, of the mulching mower. A plate-like separator member extends from a position on the approximate center of the rear enclosure wall portion to a vicinity of a rotary shaft of the cutter blade which is across the direction of rotation of the cutter blade.

    • A working fluid circuit for an active suspension control system for an automotive vehicle comprises a pressure source unit which provides pressurized working fluid to actuators, associated with wheels respectively, which are operable to suppress attitude change of a vehicle body, pressure control valves associated with the actuators respectively, and check valves located in a by-pass from an output port to a supply port of the pressure control valve, the supply port communicating with the pressure source through a supply line to which the working fluid is supplied from the pressure source, the output port communicating with the actuator through an output line for outputting the working fluid adjusted at a preselected controlled level to the actuator. Each of the check valves is responsive to pressure of the working fluid in the output line which is greater than that in the supply line for feeding back the working fluid in the output line to the supply line for providing a part of pressure supplied to said pressure control valve.

    • An image transfer unit provided with cleaning means for use in an electrophotographic copying machine comprising an electrically conductive transfer roller disposed in abutting relationship with a photosensitive member, an electrically conductive, rotatable cleaning means disposed in abutting relationship with the transfer roller, and electrical bias means connected with the cleaning means and having a switchable polarity. During a transfer step, a bias voltage of opposite polarity to that of the toner is applied to the transfer roller through the cleaning means. At this time, toner attaching to the transfer roller is electrostatically transferred onto the cleaning means. During a cleaning step, a bias voltage of the same polarity as the toner is applied to the cleaning means, whereby the toner attaching thereto is transferred back to the photosensitive member through the transfer roller. The toner which is transferred back to the photosensitive member is removed by separate cleaning means.

    • A type printer in which deterioration of a platen is prevented by distributing positions of impacts on the platen by a printing head over the whole region of peripheral surface of a cylindrical platen. The drive shafts of a paper feed roller, platen, and tractor are operatively connected to each other by a gear train, and driven by a motor. The gear ratio of gears in the gear train is selected so that the peripheral velocities of the paper feed roller, platen, and tractor agree with each other. The platen rotates in synchronism with the feed velocity of paper fed by the paper feed roller and the tractor, by which the positions of impacts, which are effected by the printing head, are distributed over the whole region on the peripheral surface of the platen. The printer is provided with an approaching/separating mechanism and a pressing force varying mechanism for a pressing roller, which operates in cooperation with the paper feed roller, a paper transfer path switching mechanism for switching a transfer path according to a continuous paper and a cut paper, and a mechanism for controlling a gap between the printing head and the platen.
