摘要： In a vehicular control device, it is necessary to measure or calculate six physical quantities-forward-reverse speed, left-right speed, vertical speed, pitch angle, roll angle, and angle of sideslip-representing vehicular movement and to control the braking force of each wheel and/or the damping coefficient of each suspension shock absorber in order to further shorten braking distance particularly at the time of braking and to prevent spin at that time. In this case, it is necessary to furnish sensors to measure speed and angle directly. In the present invention, four radar sensors are used in order to directly measure the forward-reverse speed and the left-right speed. Also, the vertical speed, the pitch angle, the roll angle, and the angle of sideslip are indirectly measured from the output of the radar sensors. By using three or four radar sensors, six physical quantities—the forward speed, the left-right direction speed, the vertical speed, the angle of sideslip, the pitch angle, and the roll angle—can be measured. Also, by using two radar sensors, three physical quantities—the forward speed, the left-right speed, and the angle of sideslip—can be measured.

摘要： The solenoid current increases at low temperatures and decreases at high temperatures because the modulus of elasticity of an elastically deformable valve body and the slide resistance of an elastically deformable seal member vary with temperatures. Therefore the solenoid current for opening the valve mechanism from a closed position is required to be changed with low and high temperatures. To supply the solenoid current necessary for opening the valve mechanism without directly measuring the temperature, the solenoid current (the boost starting current leaning value) indicated when the pressure varies with the opening of the valve mechanism is recorded at the time of pressure-increasing, and thereafter when the valve mechanism is opened again after the closing of the valve mechanism, the solenoid current computed on the basis of the pressure-increase starting current learning value thus recorded is supplied.

摘要： In order to judge whether a driver has pressed a brake pedal, a stroke sensor and a brake pedal pressing force sensor had to be installed in a conventional vehicle brake control device which required a complex attachment structure and time for attachment work and for attachment position adjusting work of the sensors. In the present brake booster control device, based on at least one of when an output (master cylinder pressure) larger by a predetermined amount than an output (master cylinder pressure Pr) expected from a current applied to the solenoid 6 in the brake booster 4 is obtained, when an output (master cylinder pressure) larger by a predetermined amount than a control target output (target master cylinder pressure) is obtained and when an output variation larger by a predetermined amount in an increasing direction than a variation component of the control target output (target master cylinder pressure) is obtained, it is judged that the driver has pressed the brake pedal.

摘要： A power supply system for a vehicle is provided which is able to supply an electric brake apparatus with necessary power even if an abnormal condition occurs in a battery or a conductor which is connected to the electric brake apparatus. A relay control unit 12 normally brings a relay 11 in a state in which its input terminal is connected to an A terminal 13. This causes a generator 50 or main battery 20 to supply an electric brake apparatus 100 with power via first and second power supply lines 40 and 41 and charges an auxiliary battery 21. If an abnormal condition occurs at main and auxiliary batteries 20 and 21, main and auxiliary power supply lines 30 and 31, first and second power supply lines 40 and 41, the relay control unit 12 brings the relay 21 into a state in which its input terminal is connected to A or B terminal 13 or 14 in response to the abnormal condition.
