It also has a seal member composed of an elastic member and provided on an outer circumference of the proximal portion of the needle tube so as to be liquid-tight, and a liquid containing member having a liquid chamber capable of containing a liquid therein. With the proximal portion of the needle tube communicating with the liquid chamber, the seal member is compressed by and clamped between the needle holding member and the liquid containing member.

The instrument also has: a liquid containing section having a liquid chamber capable of containing a liquid therein; and a needle seating section formed at one end of the liquid containing section. The seal member is in contact with an inner surface of the needle seating section and is disposed within the needle seating section in a compressed state. The proximal portion of the needle tube communicates with the liquid chamber.
