摘要： A multi-color printing apparatus is specifically adapted for printing designs on clothing by the application of ink to successive silk screens, the apparatus including a pedestal having registration pins for insertion in openings in the silk screen supporting frame, and a clamping plate is hingedly mounted above the supporting frame with a lever arm to force the clamping plate downwardly against the support frame into complete registry with the pins. Lift tabs are also provided to lift the supporting frame away from pins after completion of each printing stage, and a printboard is adjustably mounted on a pivot arm to align the article of clothing with respect to the silk screen.

摘要： An adjustable pin registration plate assembly for use in a single or multiple station silk screen printing press apparatus which includes an apparel support platen mounted on an elongated support arm and at least one pivoting silk screen frame support assembly movably suporting a silk screen frame above the apparel support platen. The registration plate assembly comprises a flat plate portion having a plurality of pairs of spaced vertical bores therethrough and a pair of pins each extending upwardly from the plate portion through one of the bores and adjustably secured in the bore. The pair of pins fit into correspondingly spaced holes in the rear side of the silk screen frame to provide final alignment of the frame on the apparel support platen as the frame is lowered into position. The pins are adjustable in height above the plate portion to preclude binding during frame placement and removal from the apparel support platen.

摘要： A combination material compacting and moving apparatus comprising a compactor and a cart. The compactor having a ram reciprocatingly mounted therein for compacting material onto the cart. The cart includes a lifting and dumping mechanism so the compacted materials may be transported, lifted and dumped at a remote location without the operator coming in contact with the compacted material or its container. The compactor and the cart include numerous liquid control elements including: a compactor housing having an upper reception chamber and a lower storage chamber wherein the reception chamber has protruding walls with a drip edge so that any liquid splashed on the reception chamber walls will drip into the material container; a return member which extends from the protruding walls to the storage walls at an angle so any liquid which may be splashed on the return member will be pulled gravitationally away from the storage chamber walls and drip into the container; a bag holder on the cart to support and direct a container into position so material can be compacted therein, wherein the bag holder is guided up against the return member, preventing liquid from escaping the container.

摘要： An oven door latch system for a coke oven door positionable within an oven door opening and method of sealing a coke oven. The door latch system includes a rotary member rotatively attachable to the oven door. The rotary member has a wedge-shaped, arcuate engagement edge for variably engaging a striker plate on a buck stay member adjacent the oven door opening when the oven door is disposed in the opening of the oven. A tab member is also included on the rotary member. A remotely operated adjustment actuator is provided for engaging the tab member to rotate the rotary member in conjunction with an oven door opening or closing operation. Enhanced oven door sealing is provided by the rotary wedge latch system.

摘要： A portable, collapsible cart for carrying open top flexible refuse bags comprises a medial upright having upper and lower bag supports pivotally mounted respectively to the upper and lower ends thereof. The respective elements which pivotally join the bag supports to the upright are adapted to accommodate the tubular cylindrical elements from which the cart is formed. Pins fit through communicating openings in the aforesaid joinder elements and the respective bag supports to lock the latter elements in their operative positions. Handles located at the upper end of the upright aid in manipulating the cart on wheels which are rotatably attached to the lower bag support.

摘要： An electronic locator for tracing the course of a metallic discharge line which is disposed underground. A reel means stores a length of flexible hollow cable and is operable when rotated to advance the free end of the cable into the metallic discharge line. Conductors extending through the cable provide for electrically connecting an audio frequency signal generator located on the reel means to a transmitter antenna attached to the free end of the cable. A directional receiver means determines the location of the discharge line by detecting the high strength, varying frequency signals generated by the audio frequency signal generator and radiated by the transmitter antenna through the walls of the metallic discharge line.
