    • Drug identification models and methods of using the same to identify compounds to treat disease. In at least one method of the present disclosure, at least one first drug/compound which is not actively approved by a governmental regulatory entity to treat a targeted disease or condition, which was not previously approved to treat the targeted disease or condition, and which was not previously withdrawn from clinical testing in connection with the targeted disease or condition is tested within a framework configured using drug/compound data from actively approved drugs/compounds and withdrawn drugs/compounds in attempt to identify at least one candidate drug/compound to treat the targeted disease or condition.

    • An electrical connector for connecting a flat circuit includes an insulating housing defining an insertion slot for receiving the flat circuit, a plurality of terminals arranged in the housing in parallel relationship, a shielding shell surrounding the insulating housing and an actuator. The terminals have contacting projections extending into the insertion slot. The shell provides a plurality of spaced spring fingers extending into the inserting slot and establishes a receiving path between the contacting projections and the pivot beams. The actuator is mounted on the electrical connector for movement between an open position lifting up the spring fingers of the shielding shell and allowing insertion of the flat circuit into the inserting slot and a closed position allowing the pivot beam restore and pressing against the flat circuit toward the contacting projections.

    • A network enabled computer receives connection profile information in a generic form and creates one or more native mode profiles to establish connections. By accepting profile information in a generic form, profile information can be readily provided from one or more ways, including from a policy server, through a user interface or from a third party application. The profile information can be provided with an order of precedence so that profile information from different sources may be combined appropriately. Additionally, the profile information may be provided in an extensible format to allow profile information to be distributed to multiple computers, even if some have different hardware or software configurations and are not programmed to recognize extensions of the profile information.
