The bicycle includes an engagement member that is secured to an axle of the bicycle. The engagement member selectively removably cooperates with a recess formed in the parking and lock system. The parking and lock system includes a number of upstanding members that are positioned to generally flank the front wheel of a bicycle to maintain the bicycle in a generally upright orientation. Each or select number of the upstanding members include a lock system that cooperates with the locking engagement member so as to secure the respective bicycle with respect to the parking system.

摘要： A failsafe piston retention assembly, and related components, systems, and methods are disclosed. A failsafe piston retention assembly comprises a head comprising a head body having a first surface. The assembly also includes a piston having second surface, the piston slidably coupled with respect to the head. The piston has a retracted configuration and an unretracted configuration. In the retracted configuration, the second surface is fixed with respect to the first surface by a magnetic force. One advantage of this arrangement is that the piston is retained in its retracted configuration in the event of an operational failure of the piston mechanism. For example, for a hydraulically controlled piston, the magnetic force retains the piston in a retracted configuration even in the event of a loss of hydraulic pressure.

摘要： A barrier release mechanism for a construction including a barrier and frame has a latch biased towards an unlatching position. An actuation device adjacent the construction is movable, under pressure from a fluid pressure source, into an engaged position in abutment with the latch to urge the latch against the bias to cause constraining of the barrier. Reduction of the pressure allows the actuation device to move to a disengaged position wherein the bias moves the latch to the unlatching position in which the barrier is not constrained.
