    • A hydrodynamic clutch device has at least one pump wheel, connected to a drive by way of a clutch housing, and a turbine wheel, connected to a takeoff, to form a hydrodynamic circuit. The device also has a bridging clutch with at least one piston, which can shift between a released position and an engaged position, and at least one friction surface acting between this piston and an adjacent support to connect the drive to the takeoff. When the piston is in the released position, the bridging clutch allows the hydrodynamic circuit to be used to transmit at least most of the torque between the drive and takeoff, whereas, when the piston is in the engaged position, the bridging clutch produces a bypass around the hydrodynamic circuit for the transmission of torque. The barrier clutch cooperates with at least one pressure barrier installed between the hydrodynamic circuit and the pressure space. This separation more-or-less completely prevents the exchange of clutch fluid between the hydrodynamic circuit and the pressure space, regardless of the instantaneous position of the piston between its released position and its engaged position and thus regardless of the shift status of the bridging clutch.

    • To create an additional steering angle for a vehicle, an actuator having a microprocessor-controlled electric motor functioning as the drive and a gear driven by said electric motor, is used to apply to the wheels the additional steering angle at the vehicle axle. The gear is a known constant-pitch planetary rolling-contact threaded-spindle gear (constant-pitch PRCTS gear) (12), consisting of a spindle rod (16), a spindle nut (14) surrounding the former, and a number of interposed rollers or rolling elements (18) with a groove profile (19) matching the thread (17) of the spindle rod (16). The rollers or rolling elements (18) are run on a number of guide rings (20) and interposed bearings (20), and placed at a fixed predetermined distance relative to the spindle nut (14) and to one another. The spindle rod (16) concurrently functions as the axis of the electric motor and is placed inside an electric motor rotor (9′). The constant-pitch PRCTS gear (12) furthermore has assigned sensor means with control-engineering type feedback to determine the position of the spindle rod (12).

A pressure circuit includes a first pressure medium line to supply the hydrodynamic circuit with clutch fluid and a second pressure medium line to supply the pressure space with clutch fluid. A seal at least reduces the exchange of fluid between the hydrodynamic circuit and the pressure space, and a throttle allows a defined exchange of fluid between the hydrodynamic circuit and the pressure space.
