    • [Problem] To provide a target substance detection chip, a target substance detection device, and a target substance detection method, that can be manufactured easily in a small size at low costs with reduction of the number of parts involved in the detection chip constituted by an optical prism and a detection plate used for a SPR sensor and an optical waveguide mode sensor, that can detect a target substance quickly with high sensitivity, and in which an analyte liquid is easily delivered.[Solution] A target substance detection chip of the present invention includes: a plate-like transparent base portion which allows light to pass therethrough; and a flow path which is formed in one surface of the transparent base portion as a groove and through which an analyte liquid verifying a presence of a target substance is delivered in a length direction of the groove, wherein the flow path is formed such that at least an electric field enhancement layer is disposed on an inner surface of a groove portion formed to at least partly have inclined surfaces appearing in cross section to be inclined at a gradient to the surface of the transparent base portion, and wherein a part or entirety of an uppermost surface of the groove which contacts the analyte liquid serves as a detection surface for the target substance.

    • A voltage controlled oscillation circuit with an oscillation frequency thereof controlled in accordance with an external voltage is disclosed. An odd number of inversion circuit elements such as inverters for inverting output signals thereof with respect to input signals thereto are connected in series with each other. An output side of the last-stage one of the odd number of the inversion circuit elements is connected to an input side of the first-stage one of the inversion circuit elements to thereby cause an oscillation. A plurality of oscillation frequency variable control units such as variable resistor circuit elements for changing an oscillation frequency in accordance with an external voltage are each inserted between each set of adjacent inversion circuit elements. A plurality of fixed resistor circuit elements each having a fixed resistance value are connected in parallel with a plurality of the oscillation frequency variable control units, respectively. The functions of both the variable resistor circuit elements and the fixed resistor circuit elements can be carried out at the same time by the use of a depletion type transistor or a transistor of a short channel type.

    • A fixing unit has a crown-shaped resilient member comprising an annular cylindrical member and a flange extending integrally from an upper end of the annular cylindrical member. The annular cylindrical member has a first tooth, and the flange has a second curved portion. The lower surface of the sensor case and the upper end of the housing are spaced a given distance from each other. A crown-shaped resilient member is installed on joined portions of the sensor case and the housing to hold the sensor case, the housing, the first and second supports, and the coil securely together.

    • A fuel injector with an integrated spark plug for a direct injection type engine capable of adequate fuel injection and adequate spark discharge, even if it becomes very hot because the end part of device is exposed in a combustion chamber and a spark discharge is induced there. An electric conductor is disposed along the central axis, and the electric conductor is electrically coupled with a cable for supplying electric current for the spark discharge. A needle valve made of conductive material is electrically coupled with the electric conductor through a return spring made of conductive material and is reciprocally moved by a solenoid. A needle housing made of conductive material receives the needle valve and has a nozzle for injecting fuel and a center electrode at its end. A grounding electrode is disposed near the center electrode. Insulators are disposed outside of the electric conductor. Out side of the insulators, an outer cylinder is disposed, which is composed of inner wall which adheres to the insulators and outer wall which is placed outside of the inner wall at a uniform clearance which is used as a fuel passage. A connector assembly for connecting a fuel line and an electric cable for supplying electric current to the solenoid is attached to the outer cylinder.
