    • An interactive system for controlling the operation of an HVAC system is provide that comprises a thermostat for initiating the operation of the HVAC system in either a full capacity mode of operation or at least one reduced capacity mode of operation, and a controller for an outside condenser unit having a condenser fan motor and a compressor motor, the controller being capable of operating the compressor in a full capacity mode and at least one reduced capacity mode. The system also comprises a controller for an indoor blower unit having a blower fan motor, the controller being capable of operating the blower fan motor in a full capacity mode an at least one reduced capacity mode. The system further includes a communication means for transmitting information between the outside condenser unit controller and at least the indoor blower controller, where the information relates to the operation of the indoor blower and the outdoor condenser unit. The indoor blower controller responsively controls the operation of the blower fan motor in a full capacity mode or a reduced capacity mode based on the information received from the outdoor unit controller, and the outdoor unit controller responsively controls the operation of the compressor in a full capacity mode or a reduced capacity mode based on the information received from the indoor blower controller.

    • The present invention is a handle for controlling the deflection of a distal end of a catheter body. The catheter body includes first and second deflection wires that extend through the catheter body from the distal end of the catheter body. The handle comprises a slide base, an adjustment knob, a first slide and a second slide. The slide base includes a first end, a second end, and a slide compartment longitudinally extending through at least a portion of the slide base. The adjustment knob is rotateably connected to the first end of the slide base and includes a hole extending through the knob, wherein at least a portion of an inner diameter of the hole includes an internal right thread and an internal left thread. The first slide is located in the slide compartment, is adapted to be coupled to the first deflection wire, and includes an external right thread. The second slide is located in the slide compartment, is adapted to be coupled to the second deflection wire, and includes an external left thread. The internal threads of the knob engage the threads of the slides. Consequently, in operation, rotation of the adjustment knob causes the slides to displace in opposite directions within the slide compartment and the distal end of the catheter body to deflect accordingly.

    • The present invention is a catheter actuation handle for deflecting a distal end of a tubular catheter body including first, second and third actuation wires extending from a proximal end of the body. The handle comprises a grip portion, a first actuator, first and second stationary gear racks, first and second moveable gear racks, first and second pinion gears, and a second actuator. The grip portion is coupled to the proximal end of the body. The first actuator is pivotally coupled to the grip portion. The first and second stationary gear racks are fixed relative to the grip portion. The first and second moveable gear racks are moveable relative to the grip portion and couple to the first and second actuation wires, respectively. The first pinion gear is coupled to the first actuator and located between, and engaged with, the first stationary gear rack and the first moveable gear rack. Similarly, the second pinion gear is coupled to the first actuator and located between, and engaged with, the second stationary gear rack and the second moveable gear rack. The second actuator is slideably coupled to the grip portion and adapted to displace the third actuation wire.
