    • A pressure type flow rate control apparatus (1) controls flow rate of a fluid in an environment where a ratio of P2/P1 between an absolute pressure P1 at an upstream side of an orifice and an absolute pressure P2 at a downstream side of the orifice is maintained at a value less than about 0.7. The apparatus comprises: a plate for forming the orifice (5); a control valve (2) positioned upstream of the orifice; an orifice corresponding valve (9) positioned downstream of the orifice (5); a primary pressure detector (3) positioned between the control valve (2) and the orifice (5); a secondary pressure detector (11) positioned downstream of the orifice (5); a calculation control device (6) for calculating flow rate Qc on the basis of the measured pressure P1 of the primary pressure detector (3) by a formula Qc=KP1 (K being a constant) and for outputting as a control signal Qy a difference between a flow rate command signal Qs and the calculated flow rate signal Qc to a drive unit (14) of the control valve 2; and a pressure comparing, calculating apparatus (10) for calculating the ratio of P2/P1 between the detected pressure P1 of the primary pressure detector (3) and the detected pressure P2 of the secondary pressure detector (11). The pressure P1 upstream of the orifice is adjusted by opening and closing the control valve by the control signal Qy, thereby controlling the flow rate downstream of the orifice.

    • A vehicle wheel bearing apparatus which reduces the weight, size and number of parts and also prevents ingress of rain water or dusts and leakage of differential gear oil has an axle housing supported under a body of a vehicle. A hollow drive shaft is inserted into the axle housing. A wheel bearing is arranged between the drive shaft and an opening of the axle housing and is structured as a unit including a wheel hub and a double row rolling bearing. The wheel bearing includes an inner member with a wheel hub integrally formed with a wheel mounting flange on one end and an axially extending cylindrical portion. At least one inner ring is press-fit onto the cylindrical portion of the wheel hub. The inner ring is formed with at least one of the inner raceway surfaces on its outer circumferential surface. An outer member is arranged around the inner member and formed with double row outer raceway surfaces on its inner circumferential surface opposite to the inner raceway surfaces. Double row rolling elements are arranged between the inner and outer raceway surfaces of the inner member and the outer member. A cage freely rollably holds the rolling elements. Seals seal an annular space between the inner member and the outer member. A cap, having a metal core formed from steel, is press-fit into an end of a central bore of the wheel hub.

    • A vehicle wheel bearing apparatus is simple to assemble and disassemble which reduces the man-hour in manufacturing and its manufacturing cost. The bearing apparatus has an inner member (1) including a wheel hub (2) integrally formed with a wheel mounting flange (5) at one end. Axially extending cylindrical portions (2a) and (2b) axially extend from the wheel mounting flange (5). Inner rings (3) and (4) are fitted on the axially extending cylindrical portions (2a) and (2b). An outer member (10) is fitted in a knuckle N which forms a part of a suspension apparatus. Double row rolling elements (6) and (6) are arranged between the inner and outer members (1) and (10). The wheel hub wheel, (2) is rotatably supported by the knuckle N. Annular stop ring grooves (11) and (12) are formed, respectively, on the outer circumferential surface of the outer member (10) and the inner circumferential surface of the knuckle N. A stop ring (13), with a predetermined shearing strength of 20˜200 MPa, is fitted in the stop ring grooves (11) and (12).

    • A vehicle wheel bearing has a sealing device (12) on an inboard side of the bearing with a first sealing plate (23) mounted on an inner ring (3), and a second sealing plate (24) mounted on an outer member (10), arranged opposite to the first sealing plate (23). The first sealing plate (23) has a radially extending portion arranged on the inboard side of the bearing. An encoder (25) is bonded on the radially extending portion. The encoder (25) is made of elastomer material which includes magnetic substance powder. The N and S poles are alternately magnetized along the circumferential direction. The second sealing plate (24) has a substantially “L”-shaped cross-section formed by a cylindrical portion and a radially extending portion. Integral side-lip(s) slidingly contact the radially extending portion of the first sealing plate (23). A protecting cover (27) is mounted on the first sealing plate (23) so that it intimately contacts with the encoder (25).
