摘要： An ion wind generator (20) is arranged on one side of a light source (1). The ion wind generator (20) produces an air current by negatively ionizing air by corona discharges at a needle electrode (21), or negative side, and drawing the negatively-ionized air at a cylindrical electrode (22), or positive side. The air current blows toward the light source (1) and removes heat generated by the light source (1). An ultraviolet ray from the light source (1) is introduced to a vent of the ion wind generator (20) by a first dichroic mirror (4) and a ultraviolet ray reflection mirror (17). Though air exhausted from the vent includes ozone (o3) produced by corona discharges, the ozone is decomposed by the ultraviolet ray.

摘要： A flat color CRT wherein a single beam emitted from an electron gun scans the inner surface of a tube wall and which includes a phosphor screen formed on the walls inner surface. The phosphor screen comprises a nonluminescent substance and phosphor index stripes with the substance interposed between the stripes. Red, green, blue primary phosphor color stripes have a sufficient thickness and are arranged repeatedly on the nonluminescent substance at a spacing in a definite relation to the phosphor index stripes.

摘要： A flat CRT having a phosphor screen inclined with respect to the center axis of an electron beam and formed by applying phosphors to the inner surface of a tube wall. The tube inner surface is defined by rotating a plurality of logarithmic spiral curves having a constant angle of incidence and present in the x-y plane of a polar coordinate system in which the deflection center of the electron beam is its origin, the center axis extends through the origin and serves as the x-axis, and the y-axis extends through the origin and intersects the x-axis at right angles therewith. The spiral curves are rotated about the y-axis each through a specified angle to obtain a group of logarithmic curves defining the tube inner surface.

The rear panel is formed on its inner surface with spacer ridges each extending on each side of each filament cathode therealong and having a height to reach the address electrode plate. 摘要： A flat cathode-ray tube has a tubular glass body comprising a tubular neck portion, a flat funnel portion, a flat box-shaped head portion, an electron gun housed in the neck portion, and a fluorescent screen at the head portion. At least the funnel portion is made entirely of a flat glass plate. A deflection yoke, mounted on the junction of the neck and funnel portions, comprises a core having at its funnel-side end an opening approximately rectangular with substantially straight upper and lower sides and gently outwardly bulging arcuate opposite lateral sides. The core's inner surface, defining an opening, is continuously reducing in size from the funnel side toward the neck portion conforming with the tapered shape of the funnel portion. The yoke further comprises a pair of vertical deflection coils wound around an upper and a lower portion of the core. A pair of horizontal deflection coils, each have horizontal portions extending at least along the opposite sides of the funnel portion. A front-end bridge portion extends from the horizontal portion approximately perpendicular thereto and is positioned on the upper or bottom surface of the funnel portion in a direction perpendicular to the electron beam. The horizontal deflection coils are arranged inside the core at opposite sides symmetrically with respect to a horizontal plane of passage of the beam. At least the horizontal deflection coils have their inner surfaces intimately contacted with the outer surface of the funnel portion.
