    • An in-tank type fuel pump which can easily be installed and reduces the vibration caused by the fuel pump. The fuel pumped up by a pump part passes through a filter to have foreign matter contained therein removed. Then, the fuel flows from a fuel passage, through an opening part in a cap, into a recessed part and a second fuel passage. The fuel that has flowed into the second fuel passage lifts a check valve and flows into the recessed part. Then, the fuel flows through a third fuel passage to a discharge pipe, and then is guided to the outside of the fuel tank. A ball moves within a large-diameter passage according to the fuel pressure to regulate the fuel pressure required for fuel injection. When the fuel pumping is ceased, the fuel pressure falls to 0, and therefore the ball is forced to contact a valve seat by the spring force of a compression coil spring. Then, the head part of the check valve is forced to contact a valve seat to block the fuel passage. As a result, the residual fuel pressure can be maintained downstream from the recessed part.

A management module transmits an instruction to the active marker. The active marker emits a signal detectable by the mobile drive unit, the signal comprising the instruction. The mobile drive unit receives the instruction from the active marker for the mobile drive unit to perform a task.

In one embodiment, a system includes a box and a plurality of bag protectors, each made of material having sufficient rigidity to protect a bag contained therein. In one embodiment, the bag protector has a bottom panel configured to support a bottom of the bag, and two side panels that are configured to extend from two opposing edges of the boom panel away from the bottom panel to form a generally tapering profile so as to meet each other adjacent an opening portion of the bag. The box is configured to receive a plurality of bag protectors, each protectively containing a bag therein. For example, given the generally tapering profile of the bag protectors, they may be placed alternately facing opposite directions in the box.

    • Systems and computer-implemented methods are provided for automatically picking up items or products in a materials handling facility. In one embodiment, a system includes a first sensor; a conveyor; a robotic hand including multiple digits, each digit having one or more suction cups attached thereto; a memory; and one or more processors, which are all coupled together. The memory includes program instructions executable by the one or more processors to implement a pick process component configured to: (i) receive sensed information of an item or product delivered on the conveyor from the first sensor; (ii) generate a pick plan comprising processor-executable instructions to control the robotic hand to pick up the item or product; and (iii) control the robotic hand to pick up the item or product from the conveyor by executing the generated pick plan, while selectively activating the one or more suction cups.

    • A valve open and close apparatus includes a resin housing, a resin valve, and a shaft. The resin housing has a fluid passage inside the housing. The resin valve has a through hole inside the valve and opens and closes the fluid passage. The shaft is press fitted inside the through hole such that the shaft is assembled to the valve. The valve includes a first shaft bearing portions, a second shaft bearing portions, and a press-fit portion. The first shaft bearing portion forms a first slide portion between the housing and the first shaft bearing portion. The second shaft bearing portion forms a second slide portion between the housing and the second shaft bearing portion. The press-fit portion is located at a position other than a radially inward portion of each of the first and second shaft bearing portions. The shaft is press fitted into the press-fit portion.
