摘要： An oil-cooled engine assembly is provided for cooling lubricating oil, which has lubricated movable parts of an engine and subsequently recirculating cooled lubricating oil to the movable parts. The engine assembly includes a lubricating oil pump contained in the engine, and a hollow frame body which supports the engine. The hollow frame body has an oil passage through which lubricating oil flows. The lubricating oil pump is connected to the oil passage. Lubricating oil, which has lubricated the movable parts of the engine is air cooled with the frame body. Cooled lubricating oil is circulated again to the movable parts of the engine.

摘要： A center frame 64 fixed to a lower end of a swivel shaft 62 of an outboard engine system by a bolt 79 includes a swivel shaft extension 641 extending downwards from the lower end of the swivel shaft 62, and a core metal 642 which extends laterally from a lower end of the swivel shaft extension 641 and has a lower mount rubber 80 integrally baked thereto. The lower mount rubber 80 is restrained on a rear surface of the extension case 42. Thus, the distance between an upper mount rubber mounted at an upper portion of the swivel shaft 62 and the lower mount rubber 80 mounted at a lower portion of the swivel shaft 62 can be increased without downward extension of the swivel shaft 62 itself to enhance the anti-vibration effect, while avoiding an increase in extra weight and an increase in cost.

摘要： A speed reduction device for transmitting the rotation of a drive shaft to a driven shaft in a speed reducing manner. An eccentric cam is securely mounted on the drive shaft and has a central axis eccentrically offset from a central axis of the drive shaft, and the driven shaft is rotatably mounted in eccentrically offset relation from the drive shaft by an eccentricity equal to that of the eccentric cam. The driven shaft includes a pair of opposed surface portions which are adapted to rotate in a normally clamping and circumscribing relation with respect to the eccentric cam. When the speed reduction device is used in an intake and exhaust valve timing and actuating device of an internal combustion engine, a crank shaft serves as the drive shaft, while a follower cam associated with intake and exhaust valves serves as the driven shaft.

摘要： An outboard engine assembly for use on a boat includes an engine having a substantially vertical crankshaft and a pair of banks of vertically juxtaposed horizontal cylinders, the banks being arranged in a V shape, the cylinders of the banks having axes angularly spaced from each other by an angle of 90.degree. or smaller. The outboard engine assembly has a propeller operatively connected to a downwardly extending vertical shaft coupled to the crankshaft. The engine and the vertical shaft is accommodated in a case assembly. The engine and the case assembly are installed on the hull of the boat by upper and lower support members. Vibroisolating rubber dampers are disposed between the boat hull and the upper and lower support members for isolating vibrations from the engine from the boat hull.
