摘要： An operational panel capable of expanding the number of function menus to be selected. The operation panel has a cover 8 which is formed with display window 7a to 7d and equipped with push buttons 10a to 10d, respectively, at the side of the display windows 7a to 7d. The operation panel cover 8 is arranged on its back with two slide sheets 3 and 4 which are superposed one on the other but allowed to slide independently of each other. In accordance with the sliding movements of the slide sheets 3 and 4, micro-switches are turn ON/OFF. The upper slide sheet 3, as located just behind the operational cover 8, is formed with both indicators for indicating the function names and transparent portions. These transparent portions are positioned to face all tile display window 7a to 7d of the operational panel cover 8, when the upper slide sheet 3 is in a predetermined slide position. On the other hand, the lower slide sheet 4 is formed with display portions for displaying the function names.

摘要： A bar light source for an edge light panel and an illumination sign board using the same. The bar light source includes a transparent bar member such as acrylic resin. The transparent bar member has a light-source light supplying portion formed at an end of thereof, a transparent incident light supply surface formed elongately on the front surface thereof, and a light guiding pattern printed on the back surface thereof. An optical cable propagates light from a lamp to the light-source light supplying portion. The light guiding pattern guides light to control uniformly the brightness of the bar light source. Thus, the light is supplied onto the incident end surface of the edge light panel in an area illumination board.

摘要： In an air bag having a structure wherein part of the gas generated from a gas generator inside the air bag is released so as to absorb an impact force on a human body, the present invention provides an air bag type protector for occupant including at least one auxiliary bag from storing the released gas, fitted outside a foundation cloth of the air bag. The apparatus of the present invention makes it possible to reduce the size and weight of a filter device inside the gas generator and hence, to reduce the size and weight of the gas generator as a whole. The auxiliary bag is preferably fitted in such a manner that the upper half of the foundation cloth of the air bag is covered therewith.

This linear gas generant can be stably deflagrated under a lower ambient pressure, irrespective of a large specific burning area.Disclosed further is a filter structure for a gas generator to be used in an air bag restraint system, which is produced by winding a continuous high-tensile-strength fiber bundle or yarn at a predetermined pitch around an outer surface of a member (a gas generation member) comprising ignition means and gas generation means actuated by the ignition means. This filter structure attains the reduction in weight of the gas generator.
