    • A wireless terminal stores shared information, which is shared in authentication processing executed between the wireless terminal and an authentication device when the wireless terminal logs on to a first base station. When the connection destination is to be switched from the first base station to another base station (a second base station), a new shared key is created from the shared information which has been stored, and is sent to the authentication device via the second base station. In the case where the authentication device judges the new shared key as valid through validity judging processing with the use of the shared information, a new shared key is created to be sent from the authentication device to the second base station. An encryption key that is encrypted with this new shared key to be used in wireless communications between the wireless terminal and the second base station is received from the second base station. The encrypted encryption key is decrypted with the new shared key and, using this encryption key, the wireless terminal executes wireless communications with the second base station.

    • An illuminating push-button device includes a key-top part having a key-top surface and a first protrusion that protrudes from a back side of the key-top surface. The device also includes a key rubber part made of a transparent or semi-transparent elastic material and having a second protrusion that receives the first protrusion, the second protrusion being oriented in a common direction as the first protrusion. A switching device is included that opposes the second protrusion and is configured to be actuated in response to the key-top part being depressed. A light-source element emits light from a light-emitting surface and cooperates with a light-blocking sheet disposed between the light-source element and key rubber part and covers at least a portion of the light-emitting surface of the light-source element and has a loose hole through which the second protrusion of the key rubber part is passed.

    • An ampule separator which can efficiently cut off ampules from a strip of series-connected plastic ampules. A strip of series-connected plastic ampule is put in a stocker having an outlet at its bottom, with the individual ampules arranged horizontally. A pair of horizontally arranged rotors are provided under the outlet of the stocker. Each rotor is formed, in its outer peripheral surface, with a groove in which the body of a plastic ampule can be partially received. As the rotors are rotated, the lowermost one of the plastic ampules is received in the grooves. As the rotors are rotated further, the ampule in the grooves is pushed down and cut off along a cutoff line formed between this and the immediately upper ampules by the rear edges of the grooves, with the upper ampules supported on cylindrical outer surfaces of the rotors.
