摘要： To increase heat dissipation from a plasma display panel, a heat sinking unit 2 bonded to a curved back surface 11 of a panel unit includes a large number of fin blocks 21 arranged spaced apart from each other by a prescribed distance and a flexible thin-wall portion 22, and a joining section 221, which consists of fin anchoring portions 212 and thin-wall portions 22, is capable of being bent between the fin blocks 21, thus allowing the heat sinking unit 2 to conform to the curvature of the panel unit back surface 11. When using a heat sinking unit not structured to conform to the curvature of the panel unit back surface 11, a high-orientation graphite film as a heat equalizing layer is interposed between the panel unit back surface and the heat sinking unit.

摘要： A gas floating-transporting apparatus transports a material to be treated along a predetermined direction in a thermal space so as to thermally treat the material to be treated. The apparatus includes a gas floating mechanism and a transporting mechanism. The gas floating mechanism includes a gas ejection device which expels the gas toward a portion of the material to be treated on which a floating force is acted so as to float the material to be treated, and a gas supply device which supplies the gas to the gas ejection means. The transporting mechanism includes an abutting member which abuts a trailing end of the floated material to be treated and moves along the predetermined direction, and which pushes the material to be treated by the movement thereof, whereby the floated material to be treated is moved along the predetermined direction.

摘要： A method of manufacturing display panels includes forming a material layer on a substrate, and baking the material layer formed on substrate which is placed on a supporting bed. The supporting bed is formed of a first supporting bed and a second supporting bed placed on the first supporting bed. A difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the second supporting bed and the substrate is smaller than a difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the first supporting bed and the substrate, and the substrate is placed on the second supporting bed such that the substrate is positioned entirely within the perimeter of the second supporting bed during the baking and heating. This structure allows reduction of scratches on a surface of the substrate.

摘要： Provided are an adsorption sheet and an air-purifying filter, which can have low air-flow resistance and high deodorizing performance and be resistant to clogging by dust, from which a powdered adsorbent can hardly drop off, and in which any attached agent can hardly lose its effect. Such a product can be obtained by a process including the steps of: sufficiently premixing an agent-bearing activated carbon powder and a powdered thermoplastic resin to form a mixed powder; then spreading the mixed powder on a base sheet having a certain bulkiness and bearing an agent; stacking an air-permeable sheet thereon; and hot-pressing them.

摘要： An itinerary preparing system capable of easily preparing a complete travel plan that efficiently incorporates desired visiting places. A user inputs from a terminal an intended travel time of a trip together with visiting place information. Based on the visiting place information, a calculating section for calculating an expected consumption time in an information center calculates an expected consumption time for transportation to reach a visiting place or an expected length of stay thereat. An excess/shortage determining section compares the intended travel time with the total expected consumption time of the trip, and adjusts the intended travel time or the total consumption time based on the comparison result. Consequently, an itinerary preparing section makes a travel plan and transmits it to the terminal via an I/O section. When the received itinerary is approved at the terminal, the information center revises the itinerary by filling in free time of the itinerary. When the revised itinerary is sent back to the terminal and approved, a final itinerary is provided.
