Some methods include providing heat from a plurality of heaters to a section of the hydrocarbon containing formation; controlling the heat from the plurality of heaters such that an average temperature in at least a majority of a first portion of the section is above a pyrolyzation temperature; providing heat from the plurality of heaters to a second portion substantially above the first portion of the section after heating the first portion for a selected time; controlling the heat from the plurality of heaters such that an average temperature in the second portion is sufficient to allow the second portion to expand into the first portion; and producing hydrocarbons from the formation.

    • A method for implementing the media gateway function is disclosed by the embodiment of the present invention, including: receiving a first signaling message; determining to perform a processing of a base station application layer or a processing of a media gateway control application layer according to a Simple Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) link, wherein the SCTP link is indicated by the first signaling message; if determine to perform the processing of the media gateway control application layer, routing traffic data to a destination device. A radio access control device and a radio access system according to the above mentioned method are further disclosed. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the exchange number of an IP packet is reduced, and the bearer is separated from the control.

    • A method for bearer control includes: a first control entity routes a call which is routed from a TDM bearer based network domain or originated by an intra-office POTS subscriber, into an IP bearer based network domain; a second control entity receives the call which is routed back from said IP bearer based network domain and is destined to the TDM bearer based network domain or the intra-office POTS subscriber; when it's determined that a media stream that enters into and exits from said IP bearer based network domain is exchanged on the same media gateway, the first and the second control entities perform a media negotiation during the SIP session to select a same media codec type as the one used on TDM circuits or subscriber lines at two sides, and control a corresponding media gateway to transmit the media stream according to said selected media codec type.

    • This invention discloses a method and system for preparing for setting up a multimedia session between two terminals in a multimedia internetworking system, the method comprises receiving a call setup message by the gateway controller module from a first terminal for setting up the multimedia session with a second terminal, exchanging at least one call reference between the gateway controller module and gateway module based on the call setup message for identifying the multimedia session, exchanging one or more session setup messages through a communication tunnel between the gateway module and gateway controller module for allocating resources for the multimedia session with the call reference including a predetermined location within the session setup messages for containing session information, and initiating the multimedia session between the first and second terminals with the allocated resources.

    • The present invention discloses a trench capacitor formed in a trench in a semiconductor substrate. The trench capacitor comprises a bottom electrode positioned on a lower outer surface of the trench, a dielectric layer positioned on an inner surface of the bottom electrode, a top electrode positioned on the dielectric layer, a collar oxide layer positioned on an upper inner surface of the trench, a buried conductive strap positioned on the top electrode, and an interface layer made of silicon nitride positioned at the side of the buried conductive strap. The bottom electrode, the dielectric layer and the top electrode form a capacitive structure. The collar oxide layer includes a first block and a second block, and the height of the first block is larger than the height of the second block. The interface layer is positioned on a portion of the inner surface of the trench above the second block.

    • An exemplary embodiment relates to a method for forming a metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET).     • A data transmission device is mounted to a wrist exerciser for detecting the rotational speed of a rotor inside the wrist exerciser and generating and transmitting exercising data associated with the rotational speed from the wrist exerciser to an external device. A transmission cable has a first end connectable with the output of the processing circuit to receive the exercising data and a second end engageable with a counterpart device of the external device for forwarding the exercising data to the external device. Examples of the external devices include a personal computer, a personal digital assistant and a mobile phone having built-in memory for storage of the exercising data and a built in display for displaying the exercising data.
