摘要： Methods of and apparatus for in vivo radiation measurements relay on a MOSFET dosimeter of high radiation sensitivity with operates in both the passive mode to provide an integrated dose detector and active mode to provide an irradiation rate detector. A compensating circuit with a matched unirradiated MOSFET is provided to operate at a current designed to eliminate temperature dependence of the device. Preferably, the MOSFET is rigidly mounted in the end of a miniature catheter and the catheter is implanted in the patient proximate the radiation source.

摘要： A system and method for automatically modifying buy and sell orders in an electronic trading exchange is described. The trader system includes a user device for submitting trader buy and sell orders and conditional quantities, and a trading application which receives the trader buy and sell orders and conditional quantities and communicates these to a host exchange system. For each conditional quantity associated with a trader buy order, the trading application monitors an inside ask quantity associated with the identified desired tradable object of that trader buy order such that if the associated inside ask quantity becomes less than the conditional quantity, then the trading application modifies the trader buy order to increase the desired buy price by a predetermined user-defined increment or to the inside ask price associated with the identified desired tradable object and communicates the modified buy order to the host exchange system. Similar operation occurs for a trader sell order, with the desired inside sell price being decreased if an associated inside bid quantity becomes less than the corresponding conditional quantity.

摘要： A process for removing a washable PSA laminate from a substrate is provided. The process comprises contacting the washable PSA laminate with water and optionally, a base, at a temperature sufficient to remove the washable PSA laminate from the substrate; wherein the washable PSA laminate comprises at least one facestock layer, at least one adhesive base layer, and at least one tackifier layer; wherein the facestock layer comprises at least one facestock material; wherein the adhesive base layer comprises at least one adhesive base polymer; wherein the tackifier layer comprises at least one tackifier and optionally at least one adhesive base polymer; wherein the tackifier layer is applied to the adhesive base layer side of the washable PSA laminate. Specifically, a process is provided for removing a washable PSA laminate from a bottle comprising contacting the washable PSA laminate with water and optionally, a base, at a temperature sufficient to remove the washable PSA laminate from the bottle.

A trader generates a variable derivative product order that identifies at least a derivative product, an underlying financial product or instrument, a pricing formula, and values of price determination variables needed by the pricing formula to establish a price for the derivative. The variable product order is transmitted electronically to an exchange. The exchange calculates the offered price of the derivative using a value of the underlying product and publishes offers to potential traders. The offered price is recalculated as the value of the underlying products changes and republished to potential traders. Trades may then be executed based on the offered prices. Hedging trades may be executed in combination with trades made based on the variable derivative product orders.

摘要： The invention includes methods of electrochemically treating semiconductor substrates. The invention includes a method of electroplating a substance. A substrate having defined first and second regions is provided. The first and second regions can be defined by a single mask, and accordingly can be considered to be self-aligned relative to one another. A first electrically conductive material is formed over the first region, and a second electrically conductive material is formed over the second region. The first and second electrically conductive materials are exposed to an electrolytic solution while providing electrical current to the first and second electrically conductive materials. A desired substance is selectively electroplated onto the first electrically conductive material during the exposing of the first and second electrically conductive materials to the electrolytic solution. The invention also includes methods of forming capacitor constructions.

摘要： This invention embodies an improved process for annealing integrated circuits to repair fabrication-induced damage. An integrated circuit is annealed in a pressurized sealed chamber in which a forming gas comprising hydrogen is present. Pressurization of the chamber reduces the contribution made by the final anneal step to total thermal exposure by increasing the diffusion rate of the hydrogen into the materials from which the integrated circuit is fabricated. Ideally, the forming gas contains, in addition to hydrogen, at least one other gas such as nitrogen or argon that will not react with hydrogen and, thus, reduce the danger of explosion. However, the integrated circuit may be annealed in an ambiance containing only hydrogen gas that is maintained at a pressure greater than ambient atmospheric pressure.

Microphones of a type used to record the audio content (including their orientation and recording characteristics) are characterized to indicate a first audio coloration. Audio playback devices of a type used to process the audio content are characterized to indicate a second audio coloration. Headphones of a type corresponding to the user headphones are characterized to indicate a third audio coloration. An equalization signal is computed based on the audio colorations, and is applied to calibrate the user headphones during playback of the audio content. A database of the characterizations is maintained so that calibration of different models of headphones using different playback devices can be accomplished for audio content recorded using different models of microphones.
