摘要： An advanced cleaning system comprising cleaning compositions, pads, and implements provide effective cleaning of soft and hard surfaces. The system includes (a) a handle portion, the handle portion having a proximal end and a distal end, (b) a cleaning head portion that is attached to the distal end of the handle portion and that is adapted for use with a removable cleaning pad; (c) a cradle that is secured to the handle portion, and (d) a detachable cleaning aerosol reservoir for delivering cleaning fluid onto the surface to be cleaned adjacent the cleaning head portion, wherein the reservoir is positioned within the cradle.

摘要： The invention provides liquid cleaning or bleaching compositions containing compounds having the structure of Formula I ##STR1## wherein A is a saturated ring formed by five atoms in addition to the N.sub.1 atom, the five saturated ring atoms being four carbon atoms and a heteroatom, the substituent R.sub.1 bound to the N.sub.1 atom of the Formula I structure including either (a) a C.sub.1-24 alkyl or alkoxylated alkyl where the alkoxy is C.sub.2-4, (b) a C.sub.4-24 cycloalkyl, (c) a C.sub.7-24 alkaryl, (d) a repeating or nonrepeating alkoxy or alkoxylated alcohol, where the alkoxy unit is C.sub.2-4, or (e) --CR.sub.2 R.sub.3 CN where R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each H, a C.sub.1-24 alkyl, cycloalkyl, or alkaryl, or a repeating or nonrepeating alkoxyl or alkoxylated alcohol where the alkoxy unit is C.sub.2-4, the R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 substituents are each H, a C.sub.1-24 alkyl, cycloalkyl, or alkaryl, or a repeating or nonrepeating alkoxyl or alkoxylated alcohol where the alkoxy unit is C.sub.2-4, and wherein Y is a generally anionic counterion and Z is in the range of 0 to 10. These cleaner composition systems, which are the fluent, all-purpose type of cleaners, have surprising properties when thickened with the colloidal alumina. Such cleaners when thickened with colloidal alumina have a smoothly flowable or plastic consistency, and in their most preferred form, are pourable at room temperature, which consistency is not thixotropic in nature.

摘要： Cleaning compositions which enhance hard surfaces to exhibit excellent water-spreading and oil-repellency and therefore provide a “next time easier cleaning” consumer benefit contain selected copolymers capable of forming invisible, extremely thin hydrophilic films on treated surfaces. The cleaning compositions feature a water-soluble or water-dispersible copolymer having a first monomer capable of forming a cationic charge on protonation and a second monomer that is acidic and that is capable of forming an anionic charge in the compositions, and may contain an optional third monomer having an uncharged hydrophilic group and/or an optional fourth monomer that is hydrophobic. The cleaning compositions may further contain functional ingredients including surfactants, organic solvents and/or other optional adjuvants to enhance the cleaning performance and aid in preparation of the surface for effective delivery of the copolymer during a cleaning operation.

摘要： A thickened liquid bleach composition and methods of use and manufacture are disclosed wherein the hypochlorite bleach composition includes about 0.1-10% by weight hypochlorite and is thickened by a thickening component including a cross-linked polyacrylate polymer in an amount effective for thickening the composition, effectively reducing bleach odor when the composition is dispensed onto a surface to be cleaned and also maintaining stability of the composition, the cross-linked polyacrylate polymer preferably forming about 0.2-2.0% by weight and more preferably about 0.4-0.8% by weight of the composition, the composition also including a stabilizer for the cross-linked polyacrylate polymer. The composition is adapted for being directed onto hard surfaces to be cleaned. The composition preferably exhibits shear sensitivity or plasticity facilitating its use in the spray-type dispenser.
