    • An AM/FM receiver provided with a frequency divider for frequency dividing the output frequency of a local oscillator to provide a count output which starts with "1" at the lower limit of a receiving frequency band and thereafter increases its count value for each constant frequency band (as the receiving frequency band is searched), a digital setter for setting a desired receiving frequency, and a comparator supplied with the outputs from the frequency divider and the digital setter to produce an output for gradually increasing or decreasing the output frequency of the local oscillator until the outputs from the frequency divider and the comparator come to coincide with each other. A desired broadcasting wave is automatically tuned with such a simple construction.

    • A vehicle alarm system provides an audible alarm in the audio reproduction system of a vehicle when an abnormal condition is detected in an operating part of the vehicle. A sensor at each monitored operating part detects an abnormal condition occurring thereat and produces an abnormal condition signal when detecting such a condition. The abnormal condition signals from the sensors are supplied as inputs to an alarm signal supply circuit which produces alarm signals having different frequencies. A switching circuit switches the audio reproduction system from audio signals to an alarm signal upon the receipt of an abnormal condition signal from a sensor. The alarm signal supply circuit then supplies an alarm signal to the audio frequency amplifier of the audio reproduction system. When a plurality of sensors detect abnormal conditions simultaneously, a priority sequence judging circuit determines the degree of importance of each alarm signal and the priority sequence of the abnormal condition signals.

    • The tuning circuit of an automatically tuned radio receiver comprises a semiconductor variable capacitance element and is supplied with control voltage from a voltage memory element. The voltage memory element is controlled in the polarity of input voltage and feeding time by a search control circuit and thereby its output voltage level varies upward or downward until the tuning circuit tunes to the selected broadcasting frequency. When the tuning circuit tunes to the broadcasting frequency, the search operation is suspended and the receiver is in the receiving condition. During this time, the voltage memory element stably maintains the output voltage memorized at the tuning period. The voltage memory element is controlled by the AFC voltage during the receiving condition and operates as an element of the AFC loop.
