    • Supporting multiple graphics processing units (GPUs) comprises a first path coupled to a north bridge device (or a root complex device) and a first GPU, which may include a portion of the first GPU's total communication lanes. A second communication path may be coupled to the north bridge device and a second GPU and may include a portion of the second GPU's total communication lanes. A third communication path may be coupled between the first and second GPUs directly or through one or more switches that can be configured for single or multiple GPU operations. The third communication path may include some or all of the remaining communication lanes for the first and second GPUs. As a nonlimiting example, the first and second GPUs may each utilize an 8-lane PCI express communication path with the north bridge device and an 8-lane PCI express communication path with each other.

    • This invention provides an anti-crash safety seat in a motor vehicle, in which a backrest and so on are provided on a moveable bracket that can move backwards. A front shaft with bearings, a back shaft with bearings, and a seat control system for controlling the seat by making use of the inertia force and electromagnetic force are provided on the moveable bracket. The moveable bracket is mounted on a fixed frame by the bearings, shafts and nuts. The fixed frame is fixed on a floor of a cab of the motor vehicle and has an energy-absorbing plate, energy-absorbing bearings and two rails parallel each other thereon. When the motor vehicle collides, the energy-absorbing components in the seat absorb and transform the kinetic energy of the seat. The seat control system is actuated by a switch, so as to release the seat from being locked. Under the elastic force of the safety belt and so on, a driver and/or a passenger and the seat can move backwards to the safety zone together, achieving the goal of protecting the driver and/or passenger from being crushed.

    • Provides a service providing device and method enabling a user to accept the service by utilizing the capabilities of several various devices. At least one physical device is selected for the user based on the service requirement. The user accepts the service via the selected physical device or devices. The invention “hides” the physical devices by using a virtual device to provide the service for users. Furthermore, the invention provides a “tailored” virtual device based on the environment around the user, the favorite of user and the requirements of the service, and may provide to the user the “tailored” information suitable for the user. The operating environment of the virtual device according to the invention is dynamically changeable according to the environment around the user, the favorite of user and the requirements of the service. Thus, a seamless service may be provided to the user.
