    • Provided is a vehicle air conditioning device with a simple structure which can quickly raise the temperature of engine cooling water used for heating the air in a vehicle cabin in an engine start period in a low ambient temperature. The vehicle air conditioning device comprises the following elements integrally connected with each other: a first water heat exchanger (26) provided in the middle of a passage through which an engine cooling water flows from the water jacket of an engine (3) to a heater core (8a), a second water heat exchanger (27) provided in the middle of a passage through which the engine cooling water flows from the heater core (8a) to the water jacket of the engine (3), and a first external heat exchanger (18) for refrigerant condensation provided between the first and second water heat exchangers (26, 27). In the engine start period in a low ambient temperature, the engine cooling water flowing from the water jacket to the heater core (8a) is heated by heat released from the first external heat exchanger (18) to rise in temperature.

    • A wheel information-acquiring system (10) sends wheel information, such as a tire inner pressure, together with preset identification information from a transmitter provided on a wheel installed on a motor vehicle and causes a receiver to receive the transmitted information.In the wheel information-acquiring system, a setting device (60) transmits by wireless an ID, which the setting device is causing a transmitter (16a) to set, to the transmitter (16a) and causes the transmitter (16a) to set the ID. The setting device then transmits by wireless this ID and wheel installation position information, which is separately set and input, to the receiver, causing the receiver to map the ID and the wheel installation position information and then set and register the result of the mapping. The setting device also can acquire an ID unique to the transmitter (16a) and transmit the ID and wheel installation position information to the receiver. The structure makes it possible that the installation position of a wheel having wheel information received by the receiver is reliably specified. Thus the system with excellent durability and the wheel installation position information-setting device that realizes the system are provided.

    • In an accumulator for use in a refrigerating cycle of a vehicle air conditioner or the like, to prevent a refrigerant liquid sucked inside returning to a compressor.A desiccant layer 12 is provided above the middle of a tank 11 to divide the main body into upper and lower chambers 13 and 14. A gas-liquid mixed refrigerant sucked into the lower chamber is subjected to gas-liquid separation in the desiccant layer 12, and only the refrigerant gas is transferred to the upper chamber 13 while the refrigerant liquid and the like are accumulated in the lower chamber 14. An outlet port 16b of the refrigerant suction tube 16, through which the refrigerant is sucked into the main body, is opened within the lower chamber 14, and an inlet port 17a of a refrigerant/oil discharge tube 17, through which refrigerant gas obtained by the gas-liquid separation in the desiccant layer 12 is discharged, is opened within the upper chamber 13. The desiccant layer 12 separates the outlet port 16b of the refrigerant suction tube 16 from the inlet port 17a of the refrigerant/oil discharge tube 17, so that the refrigerant liquid sucked through the refrigerant suction tube 16 is not directly sucked into the inlet port 17a of the refrigerant/oil tube 17.
