The electronic equipment has an enclosure having a cover and a case with an opening and an air vent, and an internal unit in which an electronic component is mounted. The internal unit has a heat sink and radiation fins for releasing heat generated by the electronic component. The fins are inserted into the opening. The heat sink has a draining portion formed below the fins in a direction perpendicular to an extending direction of the radiation fins, a groove for waterproofing around the fins except an upper portion thereof, and two protrusions for fitting above the fins. The case has a rib for waterproofing around the opening except an upper portion thereof, and two holes for fitting above the opening.

    • It is an object of this invention to provide an automatic shoe clearance adjustment device for a drum brake mechanism designed to improve its durability by eliminating a gap, which is caused due to the manufacturing tolerances between the operating end surface of a brake shoe and the extended portion of an adjustment lever. To that end, a long hole (81) is formed to extend horizontally in the actuating direction of a service brake actuator (50); and the adjustment lever (80) is pivotally supported via a pin (14) with a capacity of making a rotation relative to the brake shoe (20) and a capacity of making a relative slide in approximately the same direction in which the service brake actuator (50) operates.

    • A device for detachably connecting an end fitting of a control cable with a control lever in an operating device is composed in such manner that it makes the operating device to be more short and workability of cable connection to be enhanced. The operating device consists of a strut and a control lever which are pivotally journalled to each other. A end fitting of a control cable is engaged with a free end of the control lever, which free end is bifurcated by means of planar members spaced from each other so as to define a gap. In order to engage the end fitting with the free end of the control lever, the end fitting is set so that its long side is parallel with the planar members and then passed through the gap. Thereafter, the end fitting is rotated around the cable axis by an angle of 90 deg. and the cable is pulled to engage with the free end of the control lever.

The force urging the second adjacent ends of the brake shoes toward each other, is greater than the force urging the first adjacent ends of the brake shoes toward each other.
