    • A system and method obtains random award-content information on an economic entity associated with a gaming establishment. The system has an award identifier selected from the group consisting of an article or purchase receipt intimately associated with an electromagnetically functional such as a hand-held information receiving and transmission device that can interrogate the award identifier. The award identifier contains communicable information relating to a random value that can be used for wagering credit in the gaming establishment. A distal server is in wireless two-way communication with the intermediate system entry device, the distal server capable of receiving, storing and transmitting information from the award identifier transmitted through the intermediate system entry device. Information specific to at least available gaming value available through the intermediate system entry device is identified only after communication has been first established between the intermediate system entry device and the server.

    • A system and method enables transfer of available credit between a gaming apparatus and a non-banking internet source of credit. A gaming apparatus having a ticket-in-ticket-out reading and printing module; an electronic wallet wireless communication system having a wireless communication link to an electronic wireless transaction facilitator; a fingerprint scanner; and a processor. The ticket-in-ticket-out module, the electronic wallet wireless communication system and fingerprint scanner are within a single housing for the gaming apparatus and communication from the processor to the electronic wireless transaction facilitator requires a) scanning of a finger print, b) transmission of scanned fingerprint data to the processor, c) transmission of the scanned fingerprint data to the electronic wireless transaction facilitator; and d) approval from the electronic wireless transaction facilitator is returned to the processor. The processor effects verification of existence of current available credit on the gaming apparatus.

    • A gaming system provides a wagering venue for multiple wagering positions. A processor executes code to simulate a physical random gaming event outcome using a random number generator. Memory stores three-dimensional video displayable image data of a device for the physical random gaming event outcome. A three-dimensional video display system has a three-dimensional image display field. At least two player input terminals and seating for the player input terminals within the at least 30 degree field of view. The processor i) identifies a wager from a specific player input terminal, ii) initiates generation of an event outcome in a random event outcome game, iii) generates an event outcome simulating a physical random event generating outcome; iv) selects image data from the memory of a three-dimensional event outcome in which the generated simulated physical random event outcome is shown; v) displays the selected image data; and resolves the wager based upon the generated event outcome.
