    • A detent assembly—namely of pairs of sub-assemblies of which the individual ones comprise spatially directly associated surfaces at which projecting elements cooperate with engaging elements in prestressed manner—comprises at least one detent element within a detent sub-assembly, said detent element being retained prestressed within an obliquely directed guide in a manner that it projects beyond a detent sub-assembly outer surface and that it enters an aperture sub-assembly while being obliquely prestressed into a recess of an opposite aperture outer surface and rests only unilaterally and point-wise against associated rim sites of the mutually associated interlocking zones. A preferred application relates to a handle being supported rotatably but in axially fixed position by a stop fitted with a disk connected to a handle extension and comprising circumferential interlocking recesses, for instance notches. The stop is fitted with guides containing compression springs to prestress balls and to guide them at an angle to the line of symmetry of the notches. To attain play-free interlocking, the guide-supported detent balls act point-wise on the interlocking notches of the disk.

    • The invention relates to a lock assembly (10) of a planar component (22) displaceably mounted in frame (30). Said assembly (10) comprises an engaging element (40) which, in said planar component's closed position, can be fixed in place in a latching system (50). Said latching system is designed in a manner that, in its blocked position, the engaging element, for instance a bar affixable by compression and/or friction in the latching system (50), can be inserted into latter in a first direction (R) opposite the direction of closing (X) of the planar component (20), whereas such insertion is blocked in a second direction (S) which is opposite said planar component's direction of opening (O). This design allows almost noiselessly operating the lock assembly. The planar component also may be closed when the latching system is in the blocked position already when the planar component is open. Moreover all double fittings are averted and as a result the said planar component always can be closed and be locked in play-free manner.

    • An escutcheon assembly for a door having two escutcheon members which may be applied to opposite sides of the door and can be attached to each other by at least one attachment system.     • The invention relates to a lock assembly (10) of a planar component (22) displaceably mounted in frame (30).     • A handle (10) supported pivotably but axially tight on an installation body (20) has a polygonal bar (30) mounted for rotation within a handle neck (12) for actuating a closing mechanism. Two drivers (15, 35) movable relative to each other are engageable in a non-positive and/or a positive way between neighboring surfaces (17, 37) either directly or by means of coupling elements (36, 40, 42) so that a torque transmission from the handle (10) to the polygonal bar (30) is free but is blocked from the polygonal bar (30) to the handle (10) as at least one coupling element (36) is displaced in the direction of the attack. A main portion of a polygonal driver (35) may be concentrically enclosed by a two-shell handle driver (15) having wings (52) with front faces (19) which drive e.g. pairs of spring-loaded roller pins (36) held in a wedge-shaped confining zone (55). Corner areas of indentations (31) of the polygonal driver (35) serve to attack the roller pins (36). Central parts (50) of the handle driver (15) may guide a compression spring (38) which loads engaging balls (47) in an outward direction; recesses (27) of the installation body (20) are associated to the balls (47) at enclosing surfaces (24; 44).
