摘要： The present invention relates to the preparation of an enriched and equilibrated plant extract from Solanum glaucophyllum with an enriched content of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 glycosides and flavonols, particularly quercetin glycosides. The present invention particularly describes a method for preparation of such a plant extract either in industrial or in laboratory scale. The present invention furthermore describes the use of such a plant extract or similar (synthetic) compositions for the prevention and treatment of bone mass reduction-related diseases, such as Osteopenia or Osteoporosis, for the prevention and treatment of Tibial Dyschondroplasia, preferably in poultry, for the treatment of milk fever, and as a dietary supplement for human or veterinary use.

摘要： The present invention provides a pharmaceutical and/or veterinary composition comprising a retard release formulation of a Solarium glaucophyllum preparation. The composition further preferably comprises a calcium source. The composition of the invention is suitable to prevent and/or treat hypocalcaemia. Furthermore, the composition is suitable to prevent milk fever in cows. Advantageously, the composition is administered only once before calving so as to prevent the occurrence of milk fever in cows.

摘要： Use is made in the oxidative dyeing of hair of a preliminary coloring stage of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R signifies COOR', CONH.sub.2, CONHR', CONR'.sub.2, CONH--NH.sub.2, CONH--OH, CN, CH.sub.2 OH, CHO, CH(OH)(OR'), CH(OR').sub.2 and R' represents an alkyl group with 1 to 5 carbon atoms. The preliminary coloring stages as per formula (I) may be contained in the hair dyeing agents singly or in a mixture with known preliminary coloring stages and/or direct-acting hair dyeing agents. The hair dyeing agents may, in particular, additionally contain amino acids present in nature, their esters and/or their amides. The hair dyeing agents as described, are well compatible physiologically and it will particularly be brown to reddish-brown colorings having a natural effect, that may be obtained by their use.

摘要： A method is provided for preventing or treating bone or musculoskeletal metabolism disorders or kidney malfunction in humans.
