    • A support for an automatic transmission. The support has a tubular supporting portion having an inner peripheral surface supporting a transmission shaft and an outer peripheral surface supporting an inner cylindrical portion of a hydraulic servo drum of the transmission. The support has working oil passages formed therein and adapted for supplying and discharging a working oil to and from the hydraulic servo drum. The support has a support body including a first oil passage leading from an oil pressure controller for supplying and discharging working oil and communicating with the inner periphery of the tubular supporting portion, a second oil passage providing a communication between the outer periphery and the inner periphery of the tubular supporting portion and an inner oil groove providing a communication between inner peripheral openings of the first and second oil passages. The support further has an inner sleeve fitting on the inner peripheral surface of the tubular supporting portion to cover the oil groove thereby forming an oil passage for working oil, and an outer sleeve fitting on the outer periphery of the tubular supporting portion, the outer sleeve being provided with a sleeve hole aligned with a working oil port formed in the inner cylindrical portion of the hydraulic servo drum and communicating with an outer peripheral opening of the second oil passage. The outer sleeve is further provided in the outer peripheral surface thereof with ring grooves formed at both sides of the sleeve hole and adapted to receive seal rings.

    • A speed change device for use in driving auxiliary machinery, comprising an auxiliary machinery driving pulley as an output member, an input member fixed to a driving shaft of an engine, a planetary gear transmission connecting changeably in speed between the auxiliary machinery driving pulley and the input member, and a hydraulic control unit for controlling the planetary gear transmission. The planetary gear transmission comprises a planetary gear set, a one-way clutch and a clutch equipped with a hydraulic servo. The hydraulic control unit has a centrifugal type governor valve which switches between feed and release a feed oil pressure to the hydraulic servo according to an increase or decrease in the number of revolutions of the driving shaft. The planetary gear set includes a planetary carrier connected to the auxiliary machinery driving pulley, a ring gear connected to the input member and a sun gear connected to support means which is fixed to the engine block through the one-way clutch, the ring gear and the sun gear being connected engageably and disengageably by the clutch equipped with the hydraulic servo.

    • A control mechanism of a power shift transmission is disclosed and arranged in oil passages between the hydraulic pressure source and a hydraulic clutch, comprising an inching valve disposed in an upstream passage of said passages; a selector valve disposed in a downstream passage of said passages; a sequence valve of which an operation chamber is connected to a portion between the selector valve and the hydraulic clutch; and a modulator valve having a modulation chamber connected to a portion between the pressure source and the selector valve. The sequence valve is provided with a spool operable to move in accordance with a pressure in the operation chamber and to alternatively connect a booster chamber in the modulator valve to the inching valve and an upstream portion to the inching valve, so that a hydraulic pressure is always supplied into the booster chamber while the selector valve introduces the pressure into the clutch and the inching valve is operated.
