摘要： Two cooling functions are provided: one being reduction in operation speed of a CPU, and the other being rotation of a motor fan. The two cooling functions are selectively used in accordance with a cooling mode set by a user. When a “Quiet” mode is selected by the user, a mode giving a priority to low power consumption is set to make the battery operation time as long as possible. In this case, the motor fan is not rotated and only the CPU operation speed is lowered. On the other hand, when a “Performance” mode is selected by the user, a mode giving a priority to performance is set. In this case, the CPU operation speed is not lowered, and only the motor fan is rotated. The “Performance” mode and “Quiet” mode can be freely set by the user on a setup screen.

摘要： An intake system for an internal combustion engine comprises a first valve provided to open and close an intake passage leading to each combustion chamber, a bypass passage for introducing intake air into each combustion chamber bypassing the first valve, and a second valve provided to open and close each of the bypass passages. The first valves are operated to close the respective intake passages in a light load range and to open the same in a heavy load range. The second valve is operated to close the bypass passage in the middle of each intake stroke. The first valves are controlled so that the opening of the intake passages is increased as the engine load increases after exceeding a predetermined value, and the second valve is controlled to delay the time the bypass passage is closed with increase in the engine load so that the time the bypass passage is opened overlaps with the time the intake valve is opened when the engine load reaches the predetermined value.

摘要： An automotive driving control system comprises a stepless transmission provided between the engine and the driving wheels, a transmission controller for controlling the transmission ratio of the stepless transmission, a throttle valve driver for driving the throttle valve of the engine, and a controller for controlling the transmission controller and the throttle valve driver. When the amount of depression of the accelerator pedal is within a predetermined range, the controller controls the throttle valve driver so that the opening degree of the throttle valve is fixed at a predetermined value irrespective of the amount of depression of the accelerator pedal, and controls the transmission controller to control the transmission ratio of the transmission so that an engine output corresponding to the amount of depression of the accelerator pedal can be obtained taking into account the predetermined value of the opening degree of the throttle valve.
