    • Methods, apparatus, and systems for diagnosing failing scan cells from compressed test responses are disclosed herein. For example, in one nonlimiting exemplary embodiment, at least one error signature comprising multiple bits (including one or more error bits) is received. Plural potential-error-bit-explaining scan cell candidates are evaluated using a search tree. A determination is made as to whether one or more of the evaluated scan cell candidates explain the error bits in the error signature and thereby constitute one or more failing scan cells. An output is provided of any such one or more failing scan cells determined. Tangible computer-readable media comprising computer-executable instructions for causing a computer to perform any of the disclosed methods are also provided. Tangible computer-readable media comprising lists of failing scan cells identified by any of the disclosed methods are also provided.

    • In one exemplary embodiment, a process for detecting a phone includes monitoring wirelessly transmitted traffic between first and second stations. Next, the process determines whether the traffic sent in both directions between the first and second stations are close to each other in term of traffic volume. The process identifies a total frames count of a number of frames of an identical frame size transmitted, where the number of frames is greater than any number of frames of a same size. The process calculates the percentage of the count that was just collected out of the count of the total frames. The process identifies the first station as a phone if the calculated percentage is over a first threshold and the total frames count is over a second threshold.

    • An enhanced travel reservation system and method allows for contribution to reservation offer and selection of a travel reservation provider by a traveler while also allowing for negotiation to occur between the traveler and the travel reservation provider. Before a final booking both the traveler and the travel reservation provider can negotiate over unsettled issues directly with each other. In implementations, the system deducts a fee from an account of the travel reservation provider to enter a final negotiation phase. Depending upon the result of the final negotiation, the traveler will either book a reservation directly or decline. In this manner the traveler is involved with travel reservation offer definition while retaining control over the reservation process so that the traveler can avoid unsatisfactory results.
