    • Disclosed is a reflector devise and method manufacturing same. The reflector device comprises a lamp unit comprising a seat assembly, a rivet assembly in the seat assembly, the rivet assembly including rivets projected from an underside of the seat assembly, and a LED lamp in the seat assembly, the LED lamp being electrically coupled to the rivet assembly; and a belt unit comprising an insulating layer and a conductive layer sealed by the insulating layer. The conductive layer comprises conductors and the insulating layer comprises sets of holes along the conductive layer so that the rivets are adapted to pass through the holes into the conductive layer to fasten and electrically connect the lamp and the belt units together. The invention has advantages of mass production and being waterproof and airtight.

    • An electrical grounding connector, electrical grounding connector assembly, and a method of attaching an electrical grounding connector and electrical grounding connector assembly to an electrically conductive panel is disclosed. The grounding connector assembly includes a grounding stud connector having a body portion disposed between, and integrally joining, a stud portion and a riveting portion. The body portion includes a flange extending generally radially from the body portion and the flange includes a panel engaging surface and a lug engaging surface. A protective nut is adapted to engage in substantially cover the stud portion of the grounding stud connector thereby protecting the stud portion from contaminants. Barbed elements are disclosed on various surfaces of the grounding connector thereby giving the grounding connector excellent electrically conductive properties when it is assembled to an electrically conductive panel. In a preferred embodiment, the grounding connector is preassembled with the protective nut, thereby allowing the assembly to be installed on an electrically conductive panel in one step. While the grounding connector and connector assembly is particularly suited for self-piercing applications, it may be used equally well in prepierced applications.

    • Industrial electric ovens and fryers of the type used for cooking precooked foods such as meats prior to packaging of the food draw high currents which tend to melt internal electrical connections. An industrial heating device includes compression-type electrical connections which reliably carry high currents and are capable of withstanding high voltage levels without breaking down. Compression-type electrical connections are used instead of the screw-type connections of the prior art to insure that all electrical connections have reliable, relatively large current-carrying cross-sectional contact areas. The electrical connection matrix of the resulting industrial heating device has increased current-carrying capacity and is much more reliable and resistant to electrical failure.

    • An electrical connector for engagement preferably with relatively thin conductive material comprising, in one embodiment, a pair of generally planar interengaging members matingly arranged in spaced, opposing relationship. Each of preferably a plurality of preferably tapered piercing members selectively disposed adjacent a first surface of at least one of said members is arranged to penetrate through thin conductive material interposed between said members and extend into and be deformed about an associated selectively proportioned transverse aperture in the mating member as said members are compressively urged against the intervening conductive material, to establish a secure connection therebetween. Each of the members may be provided with one or more extending portions for coupling the connector to a further conductor or support member. Other embodiments include a multiple of spaced, interengaging members similarly comprising selectively disposed transverse apertures and mating piercing members.
