摘要： A shielded connector assembly for interconnecting a camera module (50) to a printed circuit board (not shown) via a flexible printed circuit board (70) comprises a shielded shell (10) having a receiving space (100), a spring plate (30) assembled in the shielded shell, a flexible printed circuit board secured in the receiving space and abutting against the top surface of the spring plate. The flexible printed circuit board includes a first section (701) received in the receiving space and second section (700) extending beyond the receiving space. The fist section at least defines a plurality of conductive pads (708) to contact with pads (not shown) formed on the bottom face of the camera module. A protecting element (702) is disposed on top surface of the first section and encloses the conductive pads and disconnects therewith so as to prevent the flexible printed circuit board from being scraped during production and assemble and the like.

摘要： An electrical connector is provided for commonly connecting a plurality of conductors, such as insulated conductor wires. An insulating housing has a wire-receiving face, a base and generally parallel side walls extending between the base and the face, defining an elongated cavity therewithin. A strip of terminal devices is assembled in the elongated cavity. Each terminal device includes at least one insulation-displacement wire-terminating slot for reception of an insulated conductor wire. Wire-admitting slots are provided in each housing side wall aligned with the wire-terminating slots in the terminal devices. Each wire-admitting slot includes a first, wire-restraining section for temporarily holding an insulated conductor wire prior to insertion into the respective wire-terminating slot, and a second, wire-securing section for finally holding the insulated conductor wire when inserted into the wire-terminating slot. The terminal devices are joined in the strip by web portions structured to be readily broken to facilitate severing the strip of terminal devices at any location between any two adjacent devices. The housing includes access apertures through which the web portions can be broken from outside the housing.

摘要： Attachment of electronics to optical devices is made by supporting the optical devices on a heat spreader card and the electronics on a separate circuit card. Each card has at least a first major surface, with an optical transducing subassembly mounted perpendicularly from the major surface of the heat spreader card. Electronics, except for transducing elements, are placed on the circuit card. The only direct attachment between the circuit card and the heat spreader card is one or more flexible cables attached to the respective major surfaces. This arrangement mechanically isolates the circuit card from the heat spreader card. The flexible cables include electrical conductors held positionally in a polyimide matrix, which provides for thermal isolation of the heat spreader card and the circuit card.

摘要： A keying system for assuring the proper sequence or arrangement of cable cards within a card grouper is provided. The grouper includes a plurality of slots to receive the cable cards. The cards include tab means at at least one side thereof which can be selectively trimmed to one of several specific extension distances from the card. The grouper includes a template which has grooves configured to receive cards having their tabs programmed to one and only one configuration. Thus any given card, when programmed, will fit in only one location. The cards and grouper also include coacting surfaces to allow the appropriate card to be inserted in only one orientation in any given slot.

The connector includes a base which supports plural electrical contacts therein. A conductor support assembly supports individually plural discrete conductors in a one-to-one correspondence with the contacts.
