摘要： The torque variation absorbing device comprises a driving plate, a flywheel, and a spring mechanism, a damping and torque limiting mechanism and a hysteresis mechanism installed between the driving plate and the flywheel. The flywheel is divided into a flywheel body and a driven plate which are connected together by a bolt screwed into a bolt hole in the flywheel body and the driven plate. The bolt hole provided in the driven plate extends through the driven plate up to a sliding friction plane between the hysteresis mechanism and the driven plate. The dust generated by the friction of the hysteresis mechanism can be collected into the bolt hole.

摘要： Two clutches are disposed between a driving shaft and a driven shaft, in particular a first synchronous clutch which automatically engages when the driven shaft overtakes the driving shaft and a second synchronous clutch which automatically engages when the driving shaft overtakes the driven shaft. As long as there is no external intervention the two clutches mutually protect one another against unintentional engagement. The clutch arrangement can only be put into a ready or enabled position by the action of an external force. From the ready position, the paired synchronous clutches can effect a torque transmitting connection between a driving shaft and a driven shaft when their rotational speeds are synchronous.

摘要： A motor vehicle and a method of operation thereof. The method and apparatus relate to motor vehicles having an internal combustion engine for driving the vehicle and a flywheel coupled to the engine for equalizing the non-uniformity of the engine output torque. In accordance with the invention, at operating conditions wherein both the engine does not drive the vehicle and the flywheel rotates above a predetermined minimum speed, the coupling between the engine and the flywheel is automatically interrupted and the engine is stopped. Upon termination of these operating conditions, the flywheel is re-coupled to the engine to restart the engine. The coupling is preferably a controllable clutch arranged between the engine and flywheel, and the interruption of the coupling between the engine and flywheel is controlled as a function of one or more parameters representative of the operating state of the vehicle.

摘要： A vehicle transmission with an automatic clutch is disclosed in which for gear shifting the clutch is disengaged with the assistance of a vacuum of a source of vacuum, via a control valve having a solenoid actuated clutch release valve and a clutch servo. Disengagement of the clutch is carried out when a gear shift lever is manipulated with an engine accelerator released. Reengagement of the clutch when the vehicle is in motion commences as soon as the gear shift lever is released and/or the accelerator is depressed. A safeguard is provided so that reengagement of the clutch when the vehicle is at a standstill will not commence as long as the gear shift lever is touched.

摘要： A sleeve is splined to but axially slidable on a shaft between two gears rotatable relative to said shaft and having fixed lugs on their inner faces. A clutch ring is journalled on each end of the sleeve and provided with clutch dogs engageable with the lugs of one gear when the sleeve and ring are moved toward that one gear. A selector ring slides axially on the sleeve and when moved in one axial direction toward one of the gears it first positively clutches the advancing clutch ring to the sleeve then moves the sleeve and clutch ring toward that one gear to engage the clutch dogs of the advancing ring with the lugs on the one gear. Thereafter, when the selector ring is moved in the other direction, it first releases the clutched ring from the sleeve then repeats the above described clutching in the other direction.
