摘要： A tear gas gun is mechanically maintained in a normally cocked position by an electrical resistor connected at one end to a firing pin while the opposite end of the resistor is secured to a stationary surface. The firing pin has a projection extending therefrom which is normally engaged by an electromagnetic latch. The latch is mounted on the plunger of a solenoid energized to cause displacement of the latch to a release position. An electrical control unit has a firing switch connected to the resistor for causing burn-out and disintegration of the resistor upon energization of the solenoid thereby permitting firing action by the firing pin.

摘要： A diaphragm valve for sealing a chamber which consists of a rupture disc, a hollow knife, a power spring, a power spring retainer and a bellows motor. The hollow knife is positioned by the power spring retainer adjacent to the rupture disc. A bellows motor, suitably positioned at the head end of the knife, provides the force, when initiated, to force the knife into the disc to rupture it thus permitting air to fill the chamber through the hollow knife body. The device may also be activated manually with the power spring providing the driving force to the knife.

摘要： A fast charging medical oxygen dispenser including a specially designed valve which has a fixed valve seat and a freely movable valve body. In dispensing position the valve body nests closely within the valve seat with the valve body having an extremely small dispensing opening which allows the gas to pass from a storage space and then through the valve for dispensing purposes. In fast charging condition the valve body is urged somewhat away from the valve seat with the valve body having an enlarged slot which is closed off during the dispensing action, but which is opened when the valve body is urged away from the valve seat so that gas can quickly pass through the enlarged slot and into the storage area.
