摘要： A seal for use in an aerosol type dispenser of the type having an outer product container and a cover thereon with a valve assembly mounted on the cover and a tube through the propellant cartridge into the valve assembly and a flexible product containing bag within the outer container for containing a product to be dispensed. The seal is between the tube and the bottom of the propellant cartridge laterally and the bag and the tube longitudinally. The bottom of the propellant cartridge has a turned down flange around the tube where the tube passes through the bottom of this cartridge, the flange defining a shoulder together with the bottom. An annular gasket is positioned within the flange between the flange and the tube. A bag adapter is provided which is comprised of a hollow stem, an adapter flange on one end of the stem and an annular projection extending outwardly from the end of the stem opposite that on which the adapter flange is positioned. The adapter flange is adhered in a leakproof manner against the inside of the bag and the stem extends out of the bag and into the interior of the tube, the projection being positioned and held slightly inwardly in the direction into the propellant cartridge on the shoulder and bulging the tube outwardly forming a stop to hold said bag adapter in position. The annular gasket is compressed between the bulge and the shoulder forming said seal.

摘要： A product container has a valve coupled to one flow passage of a coupler-aspirator. A second flow passage is coupled to a hollow section of a propellant metering valve stem. The stem is movable within the chamber of a valve body member. The member is sealed to a propellant cartridge. An aperture in the hollow section of the stem is without the chamber when the metering valve is closed, but within the chamber when the metering valve is open. The stem has a solid section having a slot on the outer periphery thereof. Communication between the interior of the cartridge and the chamber through the slot is unblocked when the metering valve is closed, but is blocked when the metering valve is open.

The neck fits between the two flanges, the inner surface of the neck creating a seal with the outer surface of the inner flange, and the outer diameter of the neck having an annular bead which creates a seal with the inner surface of the outer flange. The thickness of the neck at the bead is greater than the space between the flanges. The outer diameter of the inner flange is greater than the inner diameter of the neck. The cap and container may be made of dissimilar plastic materials. The cap may snap or screw onto the container. Locking means may be provided to prevent removal of the cap from the container.

摘要： An annular valve body member has a chamber therein and is coupled to the cover of a product container. A solid valve stem moves longitudinally within the chamber and is urged out of the chamber. The upper portion of the stem is fitted to a coupleraspirator which is in turn coupled to a propellant. A flexible annular gasket is positioned between the valve body member and the product container cover. The inner periphery of the gasket obturates a flow path which extends from the chamber, around the valve stem and into the coupler-aspirator.

摘要： A product container having a valve stem is coupled to the first of two flow passages in a coupler-aspirator. The flow passages join at a nozzle. The second flow passage communicates with a first chamber. A guide fits over and extends above the product container and has ridges on the interior thereof. Notched winged portions of the coupler-aspirator are retained on the ridges. A cylinder having a second chamber is coupled to the coupleraspirator and positioned therebetween is a flexible annular gasket. A hollow valve stem having radial openings is mounted for movement within the chambers. The inner periphery of the gasket obturates the radial openings. A piston slides within the cylinder. Integral with the piston is an actuating member, and integral with the actuating member is a downwardly extending flange concentric around the piston. The bottom of the flange is beveled to mate with the beveled upper edges of the winged portions of the coupler-aspirator.
