    • A two-chamber container for two gas-pressurized components kept separately, for example liquids which are miscible. An outer chamber contains a first component and is provided with a dispensing valve whose interposed connecting member leads from the interior of the outer chamber to the outside and is adapted to be closed by a plug. The second component is contained in an inner chamber mounted in the interior of the outer chamber. The inner chamber is an entirely separate, self-contained vessel supported in the interior of the outer chamber. The interior end of the interposed connecting member terminates in a cup-shaped receptor member which is disposed above and around the distal end portion of the inner chamber such that a radial and axial clearance of 1-2 mm between the receptor member and the distal end is provided. The inner chamber has a desired rupture site which can be broken by force from outside, for example by pivoting or pushing-in the dispensing valve. In this manner ready communication is established between the interiors of the two containers so that spontaneously complete mixing of the two components is achieved.

    • A closure for a disposable container is disclosed from which a liquid may be pressure dispensed. The container has a mouth and the closure comprises a closure body cooperable with the container mouth for closing the container mouth. The closure body is sealably secured with respect to the container mouth and a nipple is provided on the inner face of the closure body for operatively securing a dip tube thereto, with the dip tube extending into the liquid within the container. The nipple is centrally located with respect to the mouth. A first puncturable area is provided is provided on the closure body, blocking the outflow of liquid from the container via the dip tube, and a second puncturable area, located radially outwardly of the nipple is provided such that with a first puncturing tube puncturing the first puncturable area, and with a second puncturing tube puncturing the second puncturable area and being in communication with a source of compressed gas, the liquid within the container may be dispensed via the first puncturing tube.

    • To prepare and apply two-component cement, the components are vacuum-packaged in elongated flexible fluid-tight compartments and those compartments are confined in abutting relation with a seal existing around the abutting portions of the compartments. One of the compartments is gradually collapsed to force its contents to break through the abutting wall portions into the other compartment while the extension of the other compartment is controlled as it receives the one compartment contents so as to enhance the intimacy of contact between the cement components. Then the other compartment is gradually collapsed to force its contents into the one compartment while controlling the extension of the one compartment as it receives the other compartment contents so as to further mix the components. The two compartments are alternately collapsed and controlledly extended until the components therein form a homogeneous cementitious mixture. Then a nozzle is attached to one of the compartments in lieu of the other compartment and the one compartment is collapsed to expel the mixture through the nozzle to the deposition site. Specific apparatus for preparing and applying the cement is also disclosed.
