    • A security seal comprising a locking body and a thread having a first end attached to the body and a second free end, the body having an entry opening for insertion of the second end of the thread and further, inside it, locking means that permit passage of the second end of the thread in the insertion direction and prevents withdrawal of the thread in the opposite direction. The invention provides locking means in the form of wedges (14) to open and close the passage for the thread (2). The wedges (6) are linked to the rest of the body by spring connection portions (20) and molded together with the body in order to facilitate its manufacture.

    • The invention relates to an improved seal comprising: a thin body (1) which is solidly connected to a panel (2) and which is intended to be housed in a tubular passage using support means; and a head (3) which is connected to the panel (2) by means of a weakened portion of material (4) which forms a rupture line and which enables the seal to be used with the head (3) connected to, or detached from the panel (2). According to the invention, the head (3) comprises an outer tubular body (31), a metal plate (32) which is used to support the thin element (1) in the closed position and an inner tubular body (33) which is mounted coaxially, together with the metal plate (32), inside said outer tubular body (31).

    • A pull-through security includes a base body and a tongue that protrudes therefrom and can be inserted through a pull-through opening that is arranged in a housing component connected to the base body. A restraint inset is arranged in the housing component. The tongue is provided with toes which protrude towards the outside in a rectangular-shaped manner when seen in the cross section. The toes engage with hooks in a toothed manner, whereby the hooks are arranged in the restraint inset. The housing component is provided with an outlet. The cross section of the outlet matches the cross section of the tongue having the toes. The form practically prevents the hooks from being manipulated by simple, flat tools. Influence or manipulation of the toothing between the toes and the hooks can practically be excluded.

    • A sealing plug for a liquid-filled container having a lower opening therein with an extended skirt thereon. The plug comprises a peripheral cylindrical wall for sealingly engaging the skirt of the container. The plug further has a flanged annular base extending inward from the peripheral wall and has two or more supports extended upward therefrom, the supports each have an upper end for collectively supporting an ornament within the container. The plug further has a flexible inner wall extending upward from the annular base, to a height lower than the height of the supports, and contoured around and inboard of the supports. The plug finally has a flexible diaphragm extending across the upper end of the inner wall for compensating for changes in volume and pressure of the liquid within the container.The plug is installed in the “as molded” configuration with the inner wall and diaphragm upward; and upon any expansion of the volume of the water within the globe, the diaphragm flexes and can be inverted downward about the annular base to compensate for the variation in the volume, while the supports remain fixed supporting the ornament within the container.

    • A cable lock comprising a housing having two longitudinal channels extending therethrough, a pocket at one end, and a cable having one end permanently locked within one channel. There is a spring disposed within the other channel, a cap disposed in the pocket to retain the spring and a gripping mechanism slidably disposed within the second channel adjacent the spring. The second channel is tapered toward the end nearest the gripping mechanism. The gripping mechanism is a substantially rectangular device having a plurality of gripping teeth arranged in two rows along its top edge to form a plurality of opposing tooth pairs. The gripping mechanism is also tapered to conform to the tapered channel in which it is disposed. There is a longitudinal concave channel for receiving the other end of the cable disposed on the top surface of the gripping mechanism between each pair of teeth and an angled front surface for leading the other end of cable into longitudinal concave channel. The spring exerts a preload on the gripping mechanism and the teeth grip the cable and allow the cable to be inserted into but not removed from the housing. The only way to release the cable from the housing is to cut the cable.
