摘要： Embodiments of the current invention entail a highly visible tag that can be attached to a product at a highly visible location on the product at a store, but can easily be removed once the purchaser buys the product and takes it home. Once the purchaser gets the product home, they can remove it themselves and use it in public. Once the tag is removed, it cannot be reattached by the consumer. Depending on the store policy, the product may not be returned, or an extra fee charged for returning the garment, or other similar policies. Absence of a tag makes it clear that the buyer has removed the tag and provides an indication that the product, such as a garment has been used or worn in public. The tag is most effective for products that are used in public, such as garments. The tag may carry EAS technology.

The anti-theft assembly includes a base that can be used to support an electronic article surveillance marker; a product engagement member including a support member that supports the ring during use and a locking member that secures the support member to the base; and an attachment member for securing the ring to the support member. In one embodiment, the support member and the locking member are a single, unitary member. In another embodiment, the support member and the locking member are separate members. Once assembled, upon applying a twisting force to the ring the engagement member rotates within the opening so that the attachment member is not broken.

An IC chip is mounted in a holding portion of the zipper member, the holding portion being formed of a hard material along a portion of the filament portion. An attachment tool includes a runner member on which an assembly of zipper members are placed in parallel at regular intervals to be cuttable. The attachment tool sequentially attaches the zipper members to a target one by one.

The seal comprises a seal body (1) and a steel cord (2) fixed at one end to the body. The identification element may be, for example, a label (18) or an electronic chip (20) which may be identified from the exterior when the system is in the sealed configuration.
